Very easy communucation with host. We had one minor issue which he made sure to take care of rigth away. Very nice house with the most amazing view! Sitting outside late at night looking at the stars was so beautiful!We had a great time :)

Fabulous

The property and location exceeded our expectation. Absolutely wonderful . Simon is a great host and the property comes with thoughtful touches such as a welcome pack, wine and some food items. The information folder is comprehensive regards the property and local area. Will definitely be returning.

Exquisite Villa

Our experience staying at Simon’s villa was wonderful! The villa was extremely clean, a range of amenities were provided, and the view of the mountains and Lake Viñuela is unbeatable. Simon stayed in communication with us before, during, and after our stay which put us at ease while navigating a foreign country. He even left some food items for us, including gluten free options for my wife. You will not be disappointed staying here…this villa is a gem that provided my family and I with a true authentic experience in southern Spain. Thank you, Simon!

An authentic Spanish village home

This is a lovely property set in what for us was an ideal location. A quiet street in a quiet Spanish village with amazing views across the reservoir to the valley beyond. It is the best equipped property we've rented and we loved that the owner does not have everything swept out of the cupboards. So we found non-perishables such as herbs and spices, oils and vinegars in the cupboard. A quick check of expiry dates and we could use what we needed and then replace if necessary. Much less wasteful. If you're looking for the razzmatazz of the resorts on the coast then this isn't the property for you. If you're looking to kick back, relax by the pool and have an authentic Spanish experience then you will be happy here. The village shop sells just about everything and the walk up the hill means you can enjoy your Spanish breakfast knowing you've earned it. Just a note that the property is on three levels, so it's not for those with mobility issues.

Lovely villa, spectacular view!

We had a great holiday staying here as a party of four adults and two young children. The villa is in a small town high in the hills so you definitely need use of a car - for us it was around 50 minutes’ drive from Malaga airport. The setting is so peaceful and often we could hear nothing but birdsong. It’s built over three levels and the views are fabulous from every viewpoint. It was very clean and comfortable and everything we could have needed was provided. The kitchen is very well equipped and there’s plenty of patio furniture and sun beds on the terraces. There’s a small shop close by and large supermarkets are around 20 minutes drive away back near the coast. We loved the spacious pool and spent a lot of time in it - in fact both the children learned to swim during our stay! As it was so hot the air conditioning was welcome in the bedrooms at night. There was a problem with the unit in the living room but Simon sorted this as soon as he could and he was very quick to respond and help with any queries we had. The bed in the second bedroom is in fact a double bed and not king sized but all the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this lovely villa, you will find everything you need there and you will never get tired of those views!

Dejlig Hjemlig Villa Med Smuk Udsigt

Vi følte os med det samme meget hjemme og i huset, var der alt, hvad man kunne drømme om at få brug for på en ferie - der var en tydelig følelse af “mi casa es su casa”. Udlejer er virkelig sød, hjælpsom og imødekommende og utrolig nem at få kontakt til. Udlejer opsøger selv om alt er som det skal være. Byen er der ikke meget at se, så man skal være indstillet på at skulle ud at køre i bil, når man vil opleve noget . Der er to restauranter og en lille købmand i byen intet andet. Den ene restaurant spiste vi på og det var den bedste mad vi havde fået på hele ferien. Så er man til en stille og rolig ferie med smuk udsigt, er mobil (der er mange trapper, da villa og pool ligger i tre plan) og er indstille på at køre efter oplevelser, så er det et super skønt sted og bestemt et sted vi vil vende tilbage til. Tak til Simon og hans familie for lån af deres skønne villa og deres imødekommenhed!
