Golden girls 2025

This was our second stay and as the first everything was as described. Everything we needed in this holiday haven. Enjoyed the garden in the evening as well as the morning coffee. Great relaxing stay

Perfect holiday home in excellent location

Communication with Julia was both prompt and friendly before our visit. The Dolphins is a great home by sea and worked perfectly for us as a multi generational family holiday. There was everything we needed. Garden amazing! Beds comfy, lots of toys and games, very clean and lots of little extras you don’t often find in rented holiday homes. Thanks Julia. We would love to explore the area more so could well be back in the future.

Perfect Weekend Retreat

Girls trip for the over 50’s!!!! Ideal location, we were lucky with the weather and sat in garden most afternoons, easy walking distance for beach and town.

Beautiful stay and property

We had a brilliant time. The property was as described and perfect location to town and the beach with on site parking. The shower could be stronger and more of a thorough clean before arrival but overall we were really happy with our stay and communications overall. Would 100% stay again!

Fantastic stay

I booked out this rental house for our Bank holiday weekend getaway for 8 of us out of which 5 were children. I loved the fact that this house was fully equipped with all the entertaining resources for children of all ages. The bbq was lovely, and we really appreciated that you left a bottle of Wine to welcome us (although we dont drink alcohol)and chocolates which the kids gobbled down. The attention to detail was amazing, the kitchen was fully equipped to cater and cook food from any cuisine. The garden was very well maintained and the garden furniture was top quality and very comfortable. Overall the location of the property was very convenient as it is a 2minute walk down to the beach. There is not much I can say you would need to improve in your lovely rental property, although I would have loved a hot tub in your garden, as you have a great space that would be ideal for this type of luxury. Thank you very much and we loved Swanage and deffinitly will be coming back. One thing that annoyed me was on Monday we ran a little late as I have a little OCD, hence could not help but clean and scrub the house so that we leave it the way we found it. The cleaner and her family parked right outside the drive and kept tutting and rolling eyes and basically gesturing thier annoyance. My husband went out and apologised for delay and explained the situation. Considering that we arrived at the property at 11pm on Friday due to some traffic issues. Overall very happy experience.

4 Day Break

Thank you for a lovely stay. Lovely big rooms, lovely garden, well equipped kitchen. Super to have a bathroom upstairs and downstairs. Off street parking was also really helpful. Two minute walk to the beach was as added bonus. All in all a great break away. Thank you.

Super Easter Weekend Stay - April 2023

Super long Easter weekend stay for 6 of us including kids, parents, and grand-mothers. Property was lovely and roomy, plenty of room for everyone. Bedrooms were spacious very well equipped, with comfortable beds. Kitchen was excellently equipped. The garden was beautifully maintained with deckchairs and comfortable wicker chairs and leg rests so we could all enjoy the sunshine. There was a large charcoal BBQ available, which we used to prepare a Saturday evening feast. With only 5 mins walk to the beach, and 15 mins walk into Swanage town with all the amusements, shops and restaurants, it means that everything was accessible for all - young and old. Julia, the hostess, was highly communicative, provided some great restaurant recommendations, and made sure everything we needed was available. A fabulous locations also meant we could walk directly up to the Old Harry Rocks in just over an hour, getting back in time for a tasty breakfast. Solid WiFi and a good sized TV also meant a the kids (and Adults) could relax for some downtime between physical activities. Wholeheartedly recommended - and we would certainly frequent again. Thanks!

AMAZING PROPERTY

Everything about this property is just majestic. The location could not have been better. 10 second walk and you’re at the beach and the sea can also be seen from the room upstairs. Just incredible. So many little extras that the wonderful hosts leaves for the guests really helps make it an unforgettable experience. We had all age ranges in the family and every single person adored the stay! We hadn’t even checked out and were already planning the next visit 😁
