Ce Cottage bien aménagé se trouve à seulement un pùté de maisons de Historical Downtown Lodi! Un quartier calme avec une cour intérieure intime vous aidera à vous détendre et à apprécier Lodi. La dégustation de vins, le shopping et bien sûr une scÚne animée de nourriture sont à quelques pas de Vintner's Cottage. Construit dans les années 1930 et mis à jour pour le monde d'aujourd'hui.

Juste à une courte distance en voiture du centre-ville, vous pouvez explorer l'explosion de la région viticole de Lodi avec plus de 50 salles de dégustation à découvrir. Les vignerons passionnés et les représentants des vignerons accueillent les invités, offrant une connaissance pratique de la grande histoire de la scÚne du vin Lodi. La vie en plein air est un mode de vie à Lodi ... la randonnée, le kayak, les sports nautiques, le vélo et beaucoup d'autres actifs attendent votre évasion extérieure.

Location was great to walk for breakfast at Rubys. Did this each morning. House was beautiful and very clean. Would definitely stay heat again.

Perfect location. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Bed linens superb. Clean, comfortable, and everything you would need to feel safe and happy for a quick trip in Lodi. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and will definitely stay again.

This is not a complaint however without a kitchen it's limited what you're able to use the space for. In this case I was only using it as a place to sleep so it was fine but a little bit expensive considering. That being said the place was in terrific condition and you could see that time, money and esthetics was invested here. Quiet neighborhood, close to the downtown area.

Best Galentine in Lodi

The cottage is perfect for a wine-down weekend. The location is ideal, seven minute walk to a good Mexican restaurant and coffee shops. Safe neighborhood.

very convenient and clean

the convenience to downtown (walking) and a short drive to wineries makes this a prime location. I loved the old world charm .. reminded me of my grandma's home. I hope to be back soon!

Great location

We had a great experience. We had some traveling issues, and the host were willing to work with us, which was greatly appreciated. The house is cute and located close to downtown. The beds are comfortable and most wineries are within 10 minute drive.

very nice very close to DT Lodi

The house was nice, clean and in a very cool neighborhood. Set out to surprise an old friend for his 40th and this house was the perfect launch pad to downtown to excellent restaurants, cool bars and a nice spot to come back to and laugh and joke around about the things we used to do as dumb kids.

Sisters Weekend Getaway

Cute little place and centrally located. The layout was a big wonky, but worked out well for us. Wish we could have enjoyed the backyard, but the weather did not cooperate. If we could suggest anything, we'd say having a little dining table and chairs inside would have been great for our morning coffee and oatmeal.

Base for Wine Tasting and Family Visit

The cottage was beautiful and very comfortable for our 3 night stay with 4 adults. It proved to be a great location for exploring the Lodi vineyards and enjoying some great food from local restaurants. My daughter loved the fact that there was a giant Sequoiah in the back yard! This was so much better than renting hotel rooms - it gave us a place to spend time together.

Cute Lodi Cottage Great Location

We had a great stay at the Vintner’s Cottage One. Beds were comfy, proximity to downtown and Vineyards fantastic. It’s a lovely neighborhood. Parking can be tough later in the evening, but not a big issue. It really could use a kitchen sink! I’d love TVs in the bedroom. I recommend it and would return!

Great location walking diatance to downtown

Loved this charming 2 bedroom cottage. Clean, well appointed. Easy check in. Does not have a kitchen, only a mini fridge and a microwave but it was fine for our needs. Very safe neighborhood. Walkable to downtown. Beds were very comfortable. Lovely backyard. My only suggestion would be solar lights or some type of lighting near steps to backyard as there is no outdoor light and very dark. Really nice spot and I definitely recommend staying here!

A B, not a B&B

We booked it for 4 people for 5 nights. There were 2 small rolls of toilet paper provided, which were not adequate. We knew there was no kitchen, but there were 4 wine glasses and 4 coffee mugs provided, but no detergent nor sink other than the bathroom sink to wash them for resuse, and not enough coffee for the coffee maker. They did provide supplies after we called. The bedding was very comfortable. Soap in the shower would be appreciated, maybe even some yogurt in the fridge. This was definitely not a B&B.

Wonderful location in Lodi

My husband and I stayed here for our first anniversary. It was a good choice for a couple with two bedrooms, a bath and shared outdoor space in a quiet neighborhood near downtown Lodi. The hosts were responsive and had gifted us with a bottle of their excellent red wine and also cookies to dunk in our coffee (or tea). The refrigerator was small but just right for a weekend getaway and the microwave perfect for quick breakfasts at the cottage. Comfy bed too. I would definitely stay here again.

The Story

Michael McCay and his family have farmed in Lodi for 30 plus years. Michael came to Lodi in the mid 1980s, started making wine in 1994 and launched the McCay Cellars label in 2007. From the beginning, Michael’s winemaking style has involved native fermentation...discovering and exploring the layers and trueness of this "old world style" winemaking. Concentrating on Zinfandel and Rhone varietals have become a passion at McCay Cellars. Farming
to the McCay Family means working together for the common goal of producing the finest wines possible.

The Region

Lodi has some of California’s best climate for producing wine grapes. The Mokelumne Rivers’s sandy loam soil along with the Delta’s cool breezes provide the perfect and unique environment for growing wine grapes. Lodi's beautiful hot days during the summer months along with cool nights  (an average of 57 degrees) help Lodi offer a wonderful climate for wine grapes
especially Zinfandel and Rhone varietals. 

The Winery

McCay Cellars produces small case lots, typically less than four hundred cases per lot (total production 4500 cases). McCay Cellars is a small boutique family owned winery that takes great pride in producing California’s best award winning wines. Michael McCay, owner/winemaker simply states his goal; “to make wine with a sense of presence that expresses the character and trueness of the vineyard”.
