Disley Station offers a direct service to both Manchester and Buxton in just 30 minutes meaning the hustle and bustle of city life can be combined with the peace and tranquillity of the countryside.



Neighbouring New Mills can be reached in around a 10-minute drive and is home to the Torrs Riverside Park and Millennium Walkway, which is a much-admired bridge set deep into the gorge. Buxton is just 20 minutes and most famous for its therapeutic spring water, Pavilion Gardens and of course Opera House. Also, just 20 minutes is the beautiful honeypot village of Castleton, wonderful Edale which is the start/end of the Pennine Way and Hayfield from where you can hike to the highest point in the Peak District, Kinder Scout.
