Quaver Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

The lounge is very private and has french doors looking out over the rear garden area where you will have frequent visits from the local wildlife! There is a TV, DVD & stereo with DAB radio, CD player and Ipod docking station, very comfortable suite, fire with beech surround, oak dining table and four chairs. A garden table and some chairs are stored under the stairs.

The kitchen has fully fitted units, electric fan oven & gas hob, fridge /freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and washer/dryer.

Upstairs, the king-size room has a solid oak king-size bed, oak bed side tables and wardrobe. This room looks out directly over the River Greta and towards the fells.

The twin room has two solid oak single beds, built in wardrobe and oak drawers. Both bedrooms have co-ordinating bedding and curtains and will be dressed in luxury linen and towels.

The bathroom has a modern white suite. Bath with shower over, WC, wash basin and shaver point.

This quiet, comfortable cottage is only two minutes walk from the town centre yet backs onto the river Greta and overlooks fields towards Portinscale and the fells beyond. Quaver Cottage is in a very quiet location and is ideal for those wishing to get away from the noise of town whilst still being very close to the centre. Gas central heating and fully double glazed. *Complimentary WI-FI Provided* The cottage is suitable for one small dog

The apartment is conveniently situated a stones throw from Booth's supermarket (which has an electric car charging point) and the E-Venture shop for easy bike hire.

Lovely stay at Quaver Cottage

Perfect little cottage close to the centre of Keswick but also beautiful walks in the Lakes. The cottage was well equipped for everything we needed.

Lovely, comfortable accommodation

Excellent accommodation. Couldn’t wish for anything else. Well stocked kitchen, lovely lounge area and very comfortable beds. Ideal location for the buses and Booths! A bonus with the parking slot as we didn’t use the car all week. And we were fairly lucky with the weather

Quaver cottage is a very comfortable well equipped cottage

We enjoyed our stay at quaver cottage and I would definitely like to stay there again next time we holiday in Keswick. The cottage is clean and comfortable and very well equipped and in a wonderful location which is quiet yet within a few minutes walk to the town with all the pubs and restaurants and many shops and an added bonus is that it is a minutes walk from the booths supermarket which is really handy and stocks superb food and wines etc, so we look forward to returning in the near future.

Great place to stay

First stay

Lovely cottage. Clean, well maintained and comfortable. Ideally situated in a quiet area of Keswick. The parking space is a welcome bonus. Nice to see some pheasants and rabbits hopping about the garden. This was our first stay and we plan to return.

A brilliant holiday

We have stayed in Keswick many times and Quaver Cottage is our favourite by far. It ticks every box for a relaxing break and still be central. A lovely touch this year was a welcome gift for our dog, 100% recommended.

Highly Recommended

Great cottage - well equipped, comfortable and conveniently located, with its own off street parking spot. The cottage is located close to Keswick town centre and only a couple of minutes walk from Booths Supermarket but it's well off the main streets and by the river do it's really quiet and peaceful. The USP is that the owners encourage you to put out bird food (provided) and if you do you'll be rewarded with visits from all kinds of birds - including some pretty tame pheasants who aren't adverse to trapping on the patio doors to remind you to feed them! There are also rabbits that visit regularly. The cottage itself is very comfortable and well equipped, clean and maintained to a high standard. Keswick Cottages are great to deal with. They have a very good web site and provide you with plenty of information about the cottage and local attractions and amenities. All in all highly recommended.

Lovely cottage in a great location

This was our second time staying at Quaver. Cottage is in a great location close to the Main Street but very quiet. Great having a dedicated parking space and cottage itself is clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Cosy cottage great location

Great location close to the town centre, the supermarket and the bus station whilst being quiet and peaceful. As ever with Keswick Cottages managed properties the cottage is very well equipped, immaculately clean and with nice arrival packs that help to enhance the stay.

Excellent Location

Quaver cottage was in an excellent location for town centre, Keswick. Situated in a very quiet area. Just a very short walk to the shops, cafes, pubs etc. Also to visit so many places of outstanding beauty. The house has everything you need for a perfect holiday. The beds were so comfortable.

A perfect place

Quaver Cottage Keswick

Excellent all round - can't fault it. I'd certainly stay there again. t Two minutes to supermarket/buses and town centre..... yet exceptionally quiet location. The owners use the property so it's like a home not a holiday let. Loved it.
