Ken, I must say I am more than surprised by this response. You were so kind during our initial interaction. I appreciated very much that you told me the Cabin exceeded your expectations ( our reviews consistently confirm this ) and additionally you appreciated the handrail placements to assist you in entering and exiting the Cabin. To correct the record we had 2 interactions. The first was when you arrived earlier then check in time and the second was when I purposely did a wellness check due to your somewhat limited mobility. The map that you referred to is for sight seeing points of interest, it has nothing to do with directions to our location. Guests are provided with the address, instructions and 2 photos to help with recognition of land marks. Finding us is very straight forward. Mosquitos are an unfortunate reality of nature but we work very hard on Mosquito control. There was not and never has been a Mosquito Infestation at our properties. We take this very seriously because we understand the nuisance they create. Our furniture is featured in our photos, the Lazy Boy recliners and top shelf dining room chairs with padded seats are consistently appreciated by our Guests. We provide a photo of our Cabin from the River which illustrates that the ground surface has a Slight decline to the River. I make a point of being sure that our yards are easily traversed for safety and enjoyment. I did not appreciate the condition that the Cabin was left in but chose not to charge a cleaning fee. Empty leaking beer cans, multiple trash bags and icing from some form of sweet treats dropped throuout the interior of most rooms was very disappointing to say the least. We wish you and your Guest the best in finding a different vacation spot the next time you are in the area.
