Nestled within a private 3,000 sq. m. estate surrounded by olive trees and lush Mediterranean gardens, Villa Diktamos is a charming 145 sq. m. residence that combines Cretan character, modern comfort, and authentic tranquility. Located just 15 km from the picturesque town of Rethymno and only 1 km from the nearest sandy beach, the villa is within short distance to local cafés , traditional taverns, shops and other tourist amenities.



On the ground floor, a cozy living room connects through a beautiful Venetian arch to a fully equipped kitchen, opening onto a shaded terrace with garden views—a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by nature. This level also features a master bedroom with two single beds and a spacious bathroom with two basins for extra comfort.



Ascending the stairs, guests will find two elegant double bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two singles), each with its own private en-suite bathroom. From the upper terrace, you can relax on the charming swing and take in the peaceful views of the olive groves and the Cretan Sea shimmering in the distance—a truly serene setting for unforgettable moments.



Outdoors, expansive lawns, fruit trees, and aromatic herbs invite you to reconnect with nature. The impressive 128 sq. m. private swimming pool features a separate children’s section and built-in sunbathing islands, surrounded by quality sunbeds and shaded areas for all-day relaxation.

Villa Diktamos

An excellent villa both inside and out. We even used the BBQ a couple of times. We had everything that we needed for our stay. Very quiet, relaxing and safe area. Plenty of amenities within a short car journey such as shopping, supermarkets, restaurants and beaches.

100% perfekt

5 Sterne auf allen Ebenen. Sehr moderne saubere Anlage und Häuser ( 3 Stück insgesamt ). In unserer Villa ( Diktamos ) gibt es 3 Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Duschbad. Eine gut ausgestattete Küche und große Outdoor Kitchen mit Gasgrill. Der Pool ist riesig und die im Wasser eingebetteten Liegen geben dem Ganzen ein exklusives Flair. Auf der zweiten Terrasse findet man zudem genug Schatten. Parkplätze sind auf dem Grundstück vorhanden. Die Lage ist sehr abgeschieden und ruhig mit Blick über ein Olivenbaumfeld Richtung Westen ( schöne Sonnenuntergänge ). Den Gästen steht darüberhinaus auch der Gemüsegarten zu Verfügung wo Tomaten, Succini, Auberginen, Melonen und noch mehr wächst. Überragend war unser Host Simona die uns schon vor der Anreise eine PDF mit empfehlenswerten Tavernen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Sightseeing Tips per Whatsapp zuschickte und uns dann vor Ort mit einer Haustour empfing inklusive Gebäck und selbst produziertem Raki & Wein der Gastgeberfamilie. Sie war immer erreichbar und brachte uns abends um 20 Uhr sogar noch eine neue Gasflasche für den Grill als unsere leer war. So einen tollen persönlichen Service ist selbst in einem 5 Sterne Hotel selten! Wir hatten eine perfekte Zeit und kommen sehr gerne wieder, 100%ige Empfehlung
