Harbour House Apartment, Porlock Weir, Exmoor National Park - 4 personnes

Comme son nom l'indique, Harbour House est situé juste à cÎté du port de Porlock Weir et était l'habitation de l'ancien capitaine du port.

Harbour House Apartment est divisĂ© en deux niveaux; au premier Ă©tage, il y a une cuisine ouverte et salle Ă  manger, un salon sĂ©parĂ© avec des portes-fenĂȘtres donnant sur un balcon donnant sur le port, et des toilettes sĂ©parĂ©es. Les chambres sont situĂ©es au deuxiĂšme Ă©tage - une chambre double et une chambre lits jumeaux, plus une salle de bains familiale (baignoire uniquement).

En raison de son emplacement prÚs du port, cette propriété ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 9 ans.

Porlock Weir is a picturesque harbour village on the Exmoor National Park coastline in Somerset, with a history stretching back to the 15th century. The small tidal harbour, with its ancient lock gates and pebble beach, sits at the heart of a thriving community.



You'll find a welcoming pub, restaurants ranging from relaxed dining to Michelin-listed Italian cuisine, cosy cafes, and a popular street food takeaway -- all within walking distance of the harbour. Independent shops and galleries line the lanes, including Exmoor Glass, the Harbour Gallery, and Porlock Bay Oysters, which opened expanded premises in 2024.



The larger village of Porlock is approximately one mile away and has a broader range of amenities including grocery shops, a traditional butcher, chemist, cash machine, hardware shop, visitor centre, and a selection of independent restaurants and tea rooms. Most shops in Porlock and Porlock Weir keep hours of 9am to 5pm, often extending during the summer season.



Porlock Weir was recently used as a filming location for The Salt Path, the adaptation of Raynor Winn's bestselling memoir about walking the South West Coast Path.
