Excellent property. Plenty of space, comfortable bedding and sure appreciated all the clear and efficient communication from owner. She made everything so easy and responded quickly to any inquiry. All the nice touches like fresh fruit and a few fridge items were very kind. Also had great outdoor space although the weather prohibited us from using it. We loved the stay!

Beautiful home on the gorgeous island of Sao Miguel

Our family of five had a wonderful stay, at the property. The home was incredible - beautiful, spacious, spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and with everything you could possibly need for a fantastic stay. The washer and dryer were a great convenience particularly the dryer which is something we haven’t often seen in our European travels.The neighborhood was quiet yet not far from restaurants and grocery stores.Communication, with Margarita, who met us at the property, was excellent. She was very welcoming, friendly and informative.I highly recommend this property!

Azores getaway

We were 4 couples traveling together. The house was perfect for a big group. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was in a great location to go out and explore a different area of the island every day. The hosts were so sweet. They let us check in/check out at different hours. They left us a great basket filled with Azorean goodies. They responded to any questions we had right away. If we come back we would definitely stay here again.

We had the most memorable family week at Populo's Place! We didn't have to worry about a thing! The kitchen was perfectly appointed with everything we needed. The backyard and pool were beautiful! The host had Cleaning people come midway through our stay. I would stay here again! The town of Lavernamento was perfect because it is not crowded and easily accessible to both ends of the island. There was even a festival going on and we got to see the flower apartments lining the street! Margariida was extremely helpful with suggestions for our stay. Our host could not have been better. Thank you, again Margarida!

Gorgeous Property! Modern and updated!

I am going to start off by saying I could not wait to write this review. The house was very nice and moderately updated. Very clean and easy to use. The location was great. You are pretty much centralized anywhere you want to go. The host was very nice And well organized. I will definitely be staying here again in the future. The mother-in-law was very comfortable and the kids had a blast in the pool. The whole house is very comfortable and thank you for very much for letting us stay at your beautiful home.

We had a lovely time at this house with our 7 family members. It was convenient to Ponta Delgada and all other places we did day trips. Easy to find on street parking as well as having one space w/in the gates. Pool and outside area what where we spent most of our time. It was well appointed with everything we needed to cook in on a couple of nights. Just down the street was a lovely bakery, Alma, with a nice courtyard where they have wonderful cinnamon rolls on Fri/Sat mornings. It was nice to be able to check in early when a couple in our group arrived on an early morning flight. Communication with our host was easy and they responded promptly to questions we had about our stay. We enjoyed the added touch of a fruit bowl and other items the host thoughtfully gave us. Azores, Whale be back!

This home was wonderful! The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable and each have their own mini split to keep the sleeping temperature comfortable. There were no closets so a longer trip gets a little tough on where to put your clothes (we were there for one week) but there was a storage and hanging rack in each room. Having a washer dryer was also really nice. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, pots and pans and she even had a little welcome gift of fresh cheese, bread, milk and juice when we arrived which was so nice! The house has SO much natural light but the curtains in the bedrooms were black out for a good nights sleep. The back yard was a dream. The large table was lovely for relaxing and dinners. We grilled out a few nights and the kids LOVED the pool! It was a little cool but that didn’t stop them. There were also banana trees that were so beautiful and fun! Margarida was SO easy to work with. We did loose power once but she called me immediately when I sent her a message and walked me through fixing it faster than if she came to do it herself. She also met us at the house when we checked in to show us around and make sure we had everything we needed. She was a true joy to work with. The location of this house was really great. Not right next to anything but 10 min to ponta Delgado, 15 to the north side of the island and no more than 40 anywhere else. I would recommend this house!
