There is no sound barrier in the floors, therefore, you can hear the sound.

Our group of 9 adults and 3 children had a great time at the island. The view from the property is priceless!

Gorgeous Views

Such a beautiful house with the best views! Stayed here with a party of 13 and truly enjoyed our time. Host was extremely helpful and assisted us with all of our needs. My only issue would be the difficulty of getting to the house, as its off a secluded road with tight turns and narrow paths.

Incredible View

Wonderful house and an incredible ocean view. Great location for exploring the island. Owner was extremely helpful and always available if needed. Only downside is the steep drive to access. Highly recommended.

Amazing week on Sao Miguel

The property's location in Vila Franca do Campo was perfect as a base to explore the island. The house has everything you need and the hosts are easy to communicate with. The view from the house is amazing. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing view

Everything from start to finish was impeccable with this stay. The hosts were very gracious and kind, very informative and helpful. Arriving at the house was a little complicated because we didn’t have cell service but we found our house way. It was 11 of us staying at the house, we all had everything we needed. Ample space for big family. We’ll equipped with 2 different style bbqs for grilling, nice large outside table, sitting chairs etc. it was lovely, we were very happy and strongly recommend!

Great Home Base for a Visit with Friends

There were 8 of us staying at the house for a week while visiting Sao Miguel. The house was great, beds comfortable, and an awesome patio to hang out on. Not too long a walk down the Villa Franca Do Campo, which we did most days. Good central location for exploring the whole island. Lina was super helpful and responsive — would come back to stay here in a heartbeat.

House with fantastic views

We had a lovely stay at this house. Beds and linens superb. Kitchen well equipped. Drive up to house steep. Would recommend 2 smaller cars to 1 large one for big groups. Road to Sn. do Paz narrow through village. Easy to find supermarket. Everything you need is close by. House is a lovely holiday house. Suffered a bit of damage and leaking during an exceptional storm. All fixed very quickly.

Spacious with a beautiful view

This house was very comfortable for our group of 10. Everyone enjoyed the porches with the spectacular view. Indoors there was plenty of room for people to spread out. Any issues we had were quickly solved by Lina. As others have said, it's tricky driving in with the steep hill right at the gate and the winding narrow roads (don't miss the sharp right after the underpass!) I think most places in town would be tricky driving or parking anyway, so it was nice to have plenty of room for our 2 cars here. As others have mentioned noise travels between one upstairs bedroom and the downstairs bedrooms. I would definitely recommend this house for a group and the location is very handy for driving around the island.

Our Stay

We had a little bit of difficulty finding the house, but it was well worth it! This location is spectacular, you cannot beat views from the front and side porch. The house was beautiful and very clean. Communication was excellent and was available for any and all questions we had. It took us (age 30) 20 min to walk down to the marina and 25 min back- mainly because of the hill the house is on, it's very steep and makes you earn the view- if you don't want to walk, its a short drive down to the water. We would 1000% stay again and recommend anyone looking, to do the same.

The most beautiful and comfortable place for families

We were family with 9 members raging from 70 ish yr to 11yr. The house was perfectly layed out for us. The location is perfect (approximately 30 min to every place in the island. The view is breath taking, the ocean is shown from almost every spot and the village itself has some of the best beaches in Sao Miguel. Lina is an amazing host. Always willing to help and share advices. It takes a little time to adjust to geting to and from the house, as it is located half way a along a hill looking to the village below - but it is worth the effort and every avarge driver will have no problems at all. Highly recommended

Wonderful place to stay

This house is ideal for visiting San Miguel. Its located centrally in the island near Villa Franco de Campo so it was easy to get to any of the places we wished to visit. But we also loved just being at the house. Fantastic views, wonderful birdsong, very spacious and comfortable house. I recommend it highly.

Can’t say enough good stuff about this property. The views were amazing and it was just as described. Getting here was a little bit of a challenge (rent a small car!!) but once here we didn’t want to leave!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay! Lina and Claudia are wonderful hosts. Communication was easy! All the amenities of the house are so great just like the pictures. Great location and well up kept house. There is also a dryer which is a plus for families! We totally recommend staying here. Thank you Claudia and Lina!
