The apartment has everything that you need. It's clean and has a wonderful view of the water from the large balcony. It was great having breakfast on the balcony. The parking and the building are safe and secure. Restaurants are a few steps away and groceries are nearby.

The apartment was lovely, clean and matched the photos well. The balcony was especially wonderful! The air conditioning worked well and was very quiet.It is very central to restaurants and the harbour with a couple of small convenience stores and pharmacies close by.We found the instructions for removing rubbish unclear. The coloured bins do not correspondent with the notes and it was not clear where we should put the rubbish for collection. Was it simply in the street or are there larger collection bins somewhere?The door locks can be a bit tricky and some of the windows/shutters/patio doors could do with refitting.Due to its central location, there was some traffic noise at night.

Das Highlight war der Ausblick auf den Hafen, das Meer und das bunte, italienische Treiben auf der Hafenstraße. Nach 10 Tagen ruhiger und abgeschiedener Villa, war der laute Trubel bis in die Nacht fĂŒr uns ein schöner Kontrast. Alle GeschĂ€fte fußlĂ€ufig zu erreichen. Das Wohn- Esszimmer und die 2 Schlafzimmer waren modern und schön eingerichtet. Das 3. Schlafzimmer hat den Namen nicht verdient und ist eher eine Abstellkammer. Ich denke, sogar eine GefĂ€ngniszelle ist viel grĂ¶ĂŸer. Ebenso ist die eine Dusche eher etwas fĂŒr Kinder bis 6 Jahre geeignet. In der KĂŒche flog jedesmal die Sicherung raus, wenn man SpĂŒlmaschie und Waschmaschine gleichzeitig in Betrieb hatte, aber das war dann halt so. Daher nur 4 Sterne.

Very nice apartment and great location. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and great view of the Isoli di Ciclopi. Would definitely stay here again.

This place grew on me each day

We recently stayed here at the end of our 2 week trip to Sicily. Everything was pretty much as advertised. The location was convenient to restaurants and groceries, the patio was a nice place for a spritz or dinner, and it was only 20 minutes or so down to central Catania. The washer worked great and the kitchen meant we could save a few euro on food. It was very warm when we were there, and the air conditioners worked great. The only negative was the small 3rd bedroom didn't have an AC unit, so we had to move the fan into the room so our daughter could sleep.

Close to water, large beautiful balcony with overgrown plants blocking the view. However, black mold noticed above the balcony on the ceiling above. enjoyable atmosphere in the neighborhood. apartment does not sleep 6 adults due to the tiny bunk bed room with no air conditioning. I could hardly turn around in the room, used the bunk beds. t for trashstore suitcase and clothes, towels, etc. So took the sheets off and used them to sleep on the couch that is not a pull out couch. Kitchen recycle bins very confusing. Sponge at the kitchen sink filthy. Not enough toilet paper and no paper towels provided. Host was very nice and answered all our questions especially the ones pertaining to the unlabeled receptacles. We will not stay here again.

Charming village

We loved the apartment in Aci Trezza. It is very spacious and clean. The balcony is really beautiful, the trees block some of the view, but we still loved it. Also under the apartment is a parking spot, we left remote in apartment at check out and then realized that there wasn't a manual release anywhere! Fortunately Paulina was gracious when we phoned her at 0500 to get someone to help us exit the parking area to reach the airport on time. So sorry for the inconvenience.

Wonderful Apartment with a great view

Die Wohnung ist sehr groß mit zwei Doppelschlafzimmern und einem sehr kleinen Zimmer mit Etagenbett. Die Betten im Hauptschlafzimmrt sind recht weich, die in dem anderen Schlafzimmer dagegen ziemlich hart. So ist zumindest fĂŒr jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Im Schrank waren noch zusĂ€tzliche Decken und Kissen vorhanden. Das Wohnzimmet und Esszimmer waren sehr schön und gemĂŒtlich eingerichtet, das Sofa wunderbar groß und bequem. In der KĂŒche fehlt es an nichts, die Abfallentsorgung bereitete uns etwas Schwierigkeiten, weil es unten im Haus keine großen Tonnen gibt, in die wir alles loswerden konnten. Der Balkon ist ein Traum, sehr groß und komfortabel, die Sicht geht auf den Hafen. Von dort kann man auch BootsausflĂŒge unternehmen. Ein etwas nerviger Herr war den ganzen Tag auf dem dortigen Parkplatz unterwegs und quatschte lautstark jeden an, der auf den Parkplatz fuhr oder vorbei ging. Das konnte man vom Balkon aus tatsĂ€chlich den ganzen Tag hören. Ebenfalls akustisch etwas störend war ein tinnitusĂ€hnliches Dauerfiepen aus einem Anschlusskasten von der Straße, den man auf dem Balkon, aber auch im Wohnzimmer stets hören konnte. GlĂŒcklicherweise sind die Fenster im Schlafzimmer dicht, so dass das GerĂ€usch dann nicht mehr zu hören war.Die Lage der Wohnung in Aci Castello ist zentral, man ist direkt am Hafen/Basaltfelsen bzw. an vielen Restaurants. Aber viel mehr ist vor Ort nicht. Man ist aber natĂŒrlich schnell in Catania, Taormina oder dem Etna. Decken und Kissen.

Lovely seaside stay

I can’t say enough good things about our stay in this property. The owners were gracious and allowed us to check in early and helped us settle in. The apartment is very spacious with large living, dining and sleeping areas. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and cookware and appliances. Best of all the location was great! Easy to get to tourist sites like Taormina, Mt Etna or the wineries from the apartment. Lots of good places to eat within walking distance, as were grocery and pharmacy shops. The hosts shared lots of good suggestions for tours and dining out, and were very responsive to questions. They even responded in the middle of the night when we accidentally locked ourselves in the gated parking and couldn’t get out to go to the airport. Who wants to hear from panicked guests at 3AM? They stayed gracious and kind and were able to get us out and we made it to the airport on time. I highly recommend their apartment as a wonderful place to stay and enjoy what Sicily and the beautiful Mediterranean Sea has to offer.

PERFECT LOCATION AND PROPERTY!!

From the second we walked into this property we fell in love with it. The layout, the decor, the fully functional kitchen, and the views, those views... all perfection! The hosts were very attentive, respectful, and helpful. Access to the sea and all of those restaurants and shops kept us busy and relaxed when we chose to be. Best Vrbo we have ever experienced!!

Relaxing

Beautiful, clean apartment. Fast easy communication with Marta and Paula. Great location across from the water. So convenient to walk to restaurants, grocery store and pharmacy. Great place to sit out on the patio and enjoy the weather and scenery. Only reason for the 4 star rating is the beds could be more comfortable. We used this apartment as our home base to explore Taormina, Syracuse, Catania and Calascibetta. Very centrally located to these towns. You can’t go wrong renting this property.

Perfect Holiday Location

This is a beautiful home in a wonderful area. Restaurants everywhere, fresh seafood all day long. The home was large and roomy, very clean and inviting. We were met at the door by the property manager and they left water and snacks for us. There was information about the area/Restaurants/tours available to help us plan our stay. Tour of city bus tour stopped right outside the door. The port is right across the street we walked to our boat tour no cab necessary! They arranged pick up at the airport for us and it went smoothly only $40 to the property. Beautiful gift shop downstairs worth looking into she has lots of local gifts and antiques. I would definitely go back and recommend to all my friends.

Beautiful and comfortable

Beautiful, functional and spacious apartment in a beautiful place. Everything you’d need is in this apartment. Truly a home away from home. I wanted to bring some of the furniture home with me! The hosts were incredibly helpful, kind and always available to answer any question. If you’re looking to make your home base in a small seaside town, you won’t find a better property
