Wonderful stay Podere Costantino

We loved our week in the Alba apartment. Podere Costantino is a very peaceful beautiful place to stay in the countryside. Relaxed at the refreshing pool after returning from daytrips to the San Vincenzo beach, Firenze, Pisa, Siena and San Gimignano (must see!) Mara and Franco are very sweet and welcoming hosts. The apartment has everything you need to enjoy your stay. We definitely recommend this place and would love to come back soon! Saluti da Curacao

We arrived later than expected and Mara, Franco, and their daughter were able to help guide us to the right location with smiles on! Once we arrived we discovered delicious snacks and wine in the fridge that were greatly appreciated and delicious! The property is beautiful and easy to use! Laundry was a bit of a challenge and cost extra for each load. But ample space to dry clothes.

A very warm and nice welcome by the owner. He gave us some advise for visiting varoius cities and to find Restaraunts. The Appartement was okay, only the lightening was not homely or cosy. This was sad and made it uncomfortable.Nice pool.Nearest supermarket appr. 10 Minutes by car.

Dear Bernhard, Thank you very much for your kind words and for taking the time to leave a review. We’re really glad you appreciated the warm welcome and the advice we shared. We're sorry to hear that the lighting in the apartment didn’t meet your expectations and made the atmosphere less cozy. Your feedback is very valuable to us, and we’ll definitely work on improving it to make future stays more comfortable. We hope to welcome you again!"

One week is not long enough

We had a lovely stay at Podere Costantino. The apartment was even nicer than it looked in the photos and very clean. We were welcomed straight away by Mari and Franco who are very lovely and generous and provided a lovely Tuscan meal for us which was a lovely touch for our first night along with a bottle of their own wine and fresh figs and tomatoes. I was a little disappointed the cupboards did not have any condiments but the kitchen was fairly well equipped for a family of 4. Mari and Franco were very accommodating and had we asked would probably have provided us with some. There is a washing machine there for 3 euros per wash which is very useful. The farmhouse is split into apartments so not recommended if you want total privacy. The pool was the highlight of my childrens' stay and there is also Italian Bowling (so much fun!) and swings. It was lovely to be able to walk in the vineyard and olive groves. The worse thing about our stay was the mosquito bites we all endured (there were also a few wasps about too). Next time we will be better prepared and buy in the citronella candles etc. The location is very good for touring the area, we went to Lucca, Volterra, San Gimininano, Florence, Siena and Pisa and the beach at Donoratico (all within 30-90mins by car). There is also a Conad supermarket about 8-10mins away. We would highly recommend staying at Podere Costantino and will be back if we get the chance.

Great family vacations!

We had a great week in Tuscany. Mara and Francesco are extremely nice and very welcoming, they make you feel at home. Delicious meal cooked by Mara. The place is ideally located to visit Tuscany. We came with a 6 months old baby, and all the necessary equipment (great quality!!) was ready for us. I would definitely recommend staying at Podere Costantino.

Yet another wonderful stay :-)

Back here for the second time, arriving late due to traffic and being meet by smiling Franco and Mara with nice appetizers after the Long journey. We very much enjoy the tranquillity, beautiful surroundings and the fact that only 4 familys Can stay there, so you get the Nice private atmosphere. The picture of the terrace outside our apartment doesnt do it Justice. Its surrounded with plants to make it nice for cost morning breakfasts etc. A lot of possibilities for Wine tastning in the area. We will be back! Thank you and ciao. Noam, Samuel, Michael & Camilla
