Belvedere Apartment, near the city and with swimming pool

In the popular Santa Luzia district, this charming view domicile awaits you with air-conditioned comfort and direct access to the city (but wonderfully quiet!). The magnificent garden offers ultimate bathing fun.

Besides 2 bedrooms with double beds and 2 bathrooms (1x tub/shower, 1x shower), the large living room has a dining area, a cosy sitting area (including 1 sofa bed 1.4 x 2 m), a large cable TV plus radio/CD player - and a terrific balcony!

The spacious kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave/grill, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and large fridge/freezer also offers a laundry room. All complete: washing machine/dryer, clothes horse, iron.

There is a lift from the underground car park to the 1st floor. Even without a car, you can reach many shopping facilities such as the famous Mercado dos Lavradores in a few minutes on foot (600 m). The sea is only 800 m away (11 minutes' walk).

THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW
There are several cafes nearby. Most shops, malls, and supermarkets are a ten-minute walk away.

This apartment is close to the Farmers Market, Old Town of Funchal and the Cathedral. From here you can explore on foot the various sights of our beautiful city. (eg Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc ...)


GETTING AROUND
Nevertheless, we recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the flat. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi on your own in the airport!

There are bus stops nearby to get you to the center of Funchal.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in guter Lage
Die Appartments sind sehr geräumig und sehr gepflegt. nachts ist es ruhig. Man hat nur ein paar hundert Meter zum Zentrum von Funchal. Die Einrichtung ist sehr gut und ausreichend. Die Betreuung durch Island apart war sehr gut und die Kommunikation immer sehr prompt. Die Wohnungen sind ideal zum erkunden der Insel und zum Entspannen am Abend oder zum Schlendern in Funchal. Wir würden wieder hingehen.

Alles wunderbar
Unkomplizierter Check-in und Check-out. Moderne und neue Einrichtung, man hat sich direkt Zuhause gefühlt und alles was man benötigt hat war vorhanden. Man kommt schnell zu Fuß in die Stadt.

Walking distance to town
Very clean with great AC, balcony that is huge and cozy. We especially loved the black out blinds so we could sleep in after our long trip. A ton of space, large living room, two bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen and laundry. They even delivered us laundry soap when we asked. Dessio was a great host. Wished the pool was heated but it’s winter so that’s ok. There is a building going up next door so the crane operating was loud in the morning. Not the owners fault of course. Note that the beds are very very uncomfortable so we slept in the couch’s most nights which were more comfy. Great walking distance (with a hill - but it’s Portugal!) to town.

Great location. A well-furnished and equipped apartment.
If only the communication at the beginning had been better we would have given five stars for everything. We know the location having stayed in another apartment in the same complex last year. It is close to the centre of the city and with the benefit of a great view. However some people might find the walk up a steep hill quite challenging - not an issue for us, and it's not too far. The basement garage is important as we usually have rental car.

Good place for a long-term stay
+ big, tastefully arranged appartement with well-equipped kitchen + balcony with sea view big enough for four people + large swimming pool (not heated) + private parking place (garage) + fast internet, large bandwidth + suitable for long-term stay + short walk to amenities + good and quick communication and support with local agency - one double-bed was too hard - relatively high priced
