Au bord d'un beau, tranquille, français village dans le Minervois du sud du Languedoc, à côté du Canal du Midi seulement 15 mns à partir de la ville médiévale murée célèbre de Carcassonne. Tous les deux sont des emplacements de patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Nous offrons à 2 gîtes entièrement équipés chaque sommeil 4 + le lit de camp, en lequel peut s'avérer être une base idéale pour explorer les nombreuses attractions et autour du secteur.
La PISCINE CHAUFFEE 10m x 5m . Les deux gîtes partagent la piscine qui est placée en 2 acres du jardinage. Autour de la piscine sur le decking et la bordure carrelée, offrant le secteur le prenant un bain de soleil spacieux de vues étendues des collines et des vignes. Stationnement privé dans le jardin. Endroit idéal pour visiter les nombreuses attractions ou absorber le soleil. La mer et les plages de Mediterannean sont de 40 minutes par voiture. Boutiques chics à Toulouse et à Montpellier. Vous êtes en Espagne en 1 heure!

Vacances de golf: Carcassonne a un beau terrain de golf de 18 trous, Par 71 - 5.758 mètres de jouable toute l'année avec des vues des Pyrénées et qui est 20 minutes. L'utilisation intelligente de la configuration au sol a laissé donner à chaque trou la personnalité particulière et les caractéristiques techniques, de ce fait offrant à des joueurs un cours plaisant, divers et concurrentiel. Il y a plusieurs beaux terrains de golf dans toute la région, Toulouse, Mazamet, Montpellier tout approximativement 1 heure.

The located of this gite is truly outstanding It is so peaceful and pretty The closeness of the canal and its lock breaks the silence yet never interrupts your relaxation. The outdoor space is very well planned and enjoys the long afternoon sun The gite is very well equipped inside blending traditional with modern. The hosts are very knowledgeable and helpful and make delicious pizzas! The pool area is well stocked with sun beds and you can borrow swimming towels at no extra cost. It was a home from home!

Great location. Lovely gite with pool and enjoyed watching the boats go through the lock. Well equipped gite. Good central location for local sights.Visit to Minerve is a must. James helped organise bike hire which was great with two wonderful routes all on GPS.

Fabulous Spot in superb location

What a beautiful property and so nicely located right on a lock of the Canal du Midi. The property is clean, very comfortable and the hosts are extremely welcoming, but entirely discreet. Cannot recommend staying here highly enough.

Wonderful location

An excellent week. It was very comfortable and the location is great to explore local Minervois villages, Carcassonne and further afield Narbonne. We enjoyed watching the boats go through the lock. Just beautiful!

This is a magnificent place to stay, right next to the canal du midi with beautiful walks out the front door. The hosts are wonderful, really friendly and helpful. The gite was well equipped and served us so well for a month stay. Highly recommended.

It was lovely to meet David and Alison this January. They stayed for 33 days and were house hunting in our area. During their time they had an offer accepted on a house in Villemoustaussou just outside Carcassonne. We hope in some small way our knowledge of the area helped in their decision making. Peaceful and picturesque

The rental process was very easy both with Verbo and the owners, the gite was just what we wanted, the facilities were good and the owners were very friendly and helpful, we highly recommend this property

Clean, comfortable, all you need in kitchen, great shower. Friendly, welcoming hosts. A good position to explore Carcassonne and the surrounding area. Loved walking along the canal each morning to the bakery.

We had an excellent stay at Canal View. The house is very nice and clean, counts with all the amenities, fully equipped and decorated with care. Wi Fi worked perfectly. Adrian and Ann-Marie are very friendly hosts. Highly recommeded.

Lovely cottage in a quiet location

We had a long weekend here. It's close to Carcassonne and the airport but in a peaceful location next to the canal. Plenty to see and do in the area or just rest at the cottage, which is very well equipped. Couldn't fault it.

Beautiful gite right on Canal du Midi

Lovely gite, well equipped and spacious, inside and out. Great views from the house over Marseillette canal lock and distant Black Mountains. Supermarkets close by in next village. Friendly owners who will respect your privacy but are on hand for any help required. Thank you James and Sam.

The Perfect Place

Canal View was the first stop on our drive around the south of France and it was excellent. Great facilities, clean and comfortable. Location is ideal for visiting Carcassonne and the many attractive villages in the area. Before our arrival and during our stay Ann-Marie & Adrian provided excellent information and advice.

Beautiful unit on the shores of canal du midi. Good bedding, great kitchen, great location for multiple area visits. Quiet as can be. Wonderful walks on the side ofcthe canal. Just missed having English channels available but for sure Sam and James will correct. We were their first guests

Great spot

We loved the location of this holiday home right on the canal du midi with a lock right outside the gate. A beautiful house with everything we needed, great back yard, swimming pool and easy driving distance to Carcassone. Highly recommended.

Perfect Base for Exploring The Canal du Midi

Great accommodation in great location

We had a wonderful stay in Marseillette with our young kids. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and the setting is superb with canal boats chugging along past the house throughout the day. The kids loved the pool, trampoline and swings and their daily walk to the local boulangerie for breakfast. Easy to get to Carcassonne and the coast from the gite so we were able to do something different each day. A fantastic week.

Lovely house in a wonderful location

We love this house, it’s location, right on the Canal du Midi, and the region in general. The house is well-equipped and comfortable. A large front terrace looks over the canal and a huge rear garden has a lovely pool (shared with the other gite on this site). We have been here three times now and hope to return next year.
