Simply stunning views with a perfect hobbit house

Beautiful location the views are stunning - sunsets from the hot tub - accommodation was spotless - towels and bedding great quality - fantastic location for the surrounding area - the Red Kite feeding centre was spectacular - we will be back and recommending to friends and colleagues

Very cozy and lovely place!

Me and my partner stayed at Rabbits View for 5 Days and 4 Nights. The accommodation was absolutely lovely! It was very peaceful and the view was just beautiful. The inside was very cozy and clean. Everything we needed was there, including cutlery, pans, plates, etc. It really had it all! Thank you for the amazing experience :)

Enjoyable

Very enjoyable , fabulous scenery and we had extremely good weather in July 2026 . The only 2 down falls are there are no amenities on site you have to go into the town . Also I do think it’s a little pricy per night being £250 Compared to other paces that are similar .

We enjoyed a lovely stay at rabbits view! Location was brilliant, close to amenities and Elan Valley. The views were wonderful even with the rainy February weather. Highly recommend!

3 days in Rabbits View

Had a lovely stay. Accomodation was great. It was also lovely and warm and beds comfortable. The way it is designed is so tasteful and made it awesome to stay in. We all really enjoyed being there. Would thoroughly recommend it, and would definitely book again.

A lovely place

We had a wonderful time in this charming hobbit home. It was beautifully cosy, and the scenery was incredible. Sitting in the hot tub surrounded by snow was fantastic! Everything went smoothly during our visit and there were no problems at all. A really great place to stay and we will definitely be booking again in the future.

Such a stunning & unique property

I couldn’t recommend Rabbit’s View enough to anyone looking for a quirky getaway in an idyllic setting. The property itself is finished to a very high standard throughout and is presented as new upon arrival. The bath in the main bedroom looking across the fields is a real highlight. Location wise you’re situated close enough to Rhayader for food and local shops, and within easy drivng distance of plenty of tourist spots, including Elan Valley and Gigrin Farm (Red Kite feeding ground). We’re already talking about going back when the little one is a few years older.

Lovely relaxing break in a Hobbit hole.

Had a lovely break in rabbits view, the hobbit hole was brilliant, very clean and comfy. Really clear instructions to check in and appreciated the tea, coffee and milk left for us to use, and the waffles! Would definitely recommend as it was a very peaceful relaxing break. Very easy to find using Google maps too and nice and close to drive down to the town. Overall we had a brilliant stay.

A truly memorable stay

We had a wonderful stay at Rabbits View from start to finish. Driving up and seeing the accommodation nestled into the hillside was such a special first impression – it immediately felt peaceful and secluded. The hot tub was a real highlight, perfectly positioned to take in the views and unwind properly. Everything was exceptionally clean and clearly very well cared for, which made the whole experience even more relaxing. One of our favourite touches was the bath overlooking the hills – such a luxury to soak while enjoying that incredible scenery. Every detail felt thoughtfully done, and it made for a truly memorable stay. We would absolutely recommend Rabbits View and would love to return.

Birthday weekend away with family

Booked Rabbits view for wife’s Birthday and was not disappointed…was nice to get away from the chaos and chill out. The views are amazing and the walks are great! Kids loved the outdoors and will definitely be booking again

Our stay at rabbits view

This is the second time we have stayed at rabbits view, we have loved every minute of both of our stays. Every detail for us has been perfect, especially the goats visiting us in the mornings. we have further bookings with holidays wales and we are really looking forward to trying out different accommodations in the hope they will he just as special as rabbits view.

Perfect little hideaway

Great find for a little getaway. The views from the accommodation were spectacular and only around 15min drive to the Elan Valley Visitor Centre where we could enjoy a fantastic walk around the reservoir. I would recommend this as a good place for a quiet getaway or as a relaxing place to come back to each night after long walks over the hills.

Beautiful stay

We were delighted with our hobbit hut, really lovely and well arranged. The views are stunning, the bath in the bedroom a nice touch on a rainy day - we had a relaxing time enjoying the place and surroundings. Few pubs, restaurants in the local village which was perfect for our evenings. If you want a change a scenery, chill and recharge the batteries, this is the place to be.

Beautiful accommodation

Absolutely amazing place !! The accommodation is brilliant, never stayed anywhere like it before. Also, having the highland cows in the field in front was a real bonus for my daughter, who loves them !! Would highly recommend it. Only a small downside, only one bathroom and when there is 5 people staying need another toilet !!

A magical hobbit style stay

I booked this for my sisters hen do, and it was magical, she is a massive LOTR fan and pulling up to our hobbit hole was just perfect!, it was so cosy…the bath in bedroom was such a gorgeous touch ! One thing we did think was a small side table by the tv sofa area would have been great as we did a cheese board and watched a film so just somewhere to put this with drinks would have been great. Other than that minor thing it was just spectacular, waking up and seeing the cows and sheep on the hills was just incredible. We will definitely be booking again!

We had great time here. It’s difficult to capture all the beauty of this place. You have to be there & see it for yourself. So peaceful & lovely. My parents were so happy. I wish I had booked longer holiday there.

Amazing short stay

Lovely stay for two evenings. We stayed with our 6 month old baby. Amazing facilities including a clean and comfortable cot was provided. The hot tub was great and everything was very clean. We loved the goats coming to visit in the morning. We decided to visit the Elan Valley. Definitely worth a visit. The town was a 5 minute drive away. Plenty of shops, pubs and nice walks around. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

Great stay with kids

We stayed a couple of nights with our 7 and 12 year olds. 2 days of rain didn't really matter as the kids had a great time. There's a good amount of space, great views, seems fairly new with everything you need, hot tub, fire pit, parking right outside cabin etc.... A good location, really quiet but just 5 minute drive from a small village which was handy for supplies and close to the Elan Valley.
