Amazing Villa

An amazing villa with views to match. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. The beds were very comfortable and the Villa had everything we needed. We loved the Villa and location and can’t wait to stay there again very soon.

Excellent

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was spacious and clean, and had everything that we could have wanted, and was a perfect size for the 5 of us. We received prompt and successful assistance when the WiFi was not working on our arrival, and the gated community was very peaceful. We will certainly look up "Villa Madeira" again when we come back, as all our dealings with them, through the booking process and beyond were easy and well managed. We are not golfers, so cannot comment on the course, other than to say that it looked very well tended, and looked like it was popular. We did however, venture in to the Club House and had a very delicious lunch served by friendly and helpful staff. Madeira itself was a delight, and we would like to come back and explore the things that we din't get around to this time around. I would highly recommend the accommodation and Madeira!

It sounds like you had a fantastic stay at Villa Madeira! I'm glad to hear that the accommodation was spacious, clean, and well-equipped for your group of five. It's great that the issue with WiFi was promptly resolved. The positive experience with the booking process and interactions with the staff are also wonderful to hear. Although you didn't golf, it's reassuring that the golf course looked well-maintained and popular, and that you enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Club House with friendly service. Madeira's charm seems to have left a lasting impression, and I'm sure you'll have more to explore on your next visit. Thank you for recommending both the accommodation and the island itself. Peaceful Villa with fantastic views

The villa location is fantastic overlooking both the Atlantic Ocean and the city of Funchal. The sunsets were beautiful from the balcony. The Villa was in reality better than the photos, it was very spacious and clean but a little bit sparse on the decor (something on the walls in primary bedroom is needed). We had two adult couples enjoying the stay and there was plenty of space and privacy. A few improvements would be to add toss cushions to the couch as it is very deep, add two full length mirrors one in the primary bedroom and one upstairs for the other bedrooms, add patio chairs on bedroom side patio and re-anchor the pool stair rails which felt very unstable. Otherwise it was a great villa with plenty of fridge storage upstairs and down plus a large laundry room with washer/dryer. Beds were comfortable but missed a tv in the primary. The community was fabulous, very quiet, safe and well maintained. The villa is close to Funchal for restaurants and a personal parking spot attached to villa is provided for your rental car (a must if you want to see around the island plus villa streets are very steep). The property manager was prompt with responses on any issues, we had an a/c unit that didn’t work in the 3rd bedroom which maintenance attempted to repair w/o success but fortunately we weren’t occupying that room. Property manager helped also with transfer arrangements. I would definitely recommend this Villa for a stay in Madeira.
