This is such a lovely property, it was well stocked, clean and our host was so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, with access to the lake and a beautiful walking trail that circles the lake just steps outside your door. The views of the lake are fantastic, the bbq was perfect for grilling and watching the sun set. We definitely want to go back!

Overall the place was great. The hosts were very nice and communicated really well. The access to the small beach was a big bonus. The only big note I had is that the kitchen is a bit of a mess as far as organization. I never could find a cutting board and the cabinets are stuffed with things. Made it a little hard to cook. But overall really nice spot.

This cabin is it! The view was amazing. Breathtaking sunrise colored skies with coffee in the balcony. Everything about this stay was just perfect. Vicky was amazing with responds. Clear instructions to get in. She was kind enough to accommodate an early check in for us. Thank you so much Vicky! My family and I will definitely be back again soon.

What a beautiful property! Vicki was so sweet and made us feel at home. The house was so clean! That I felt like in my own home and I clean a lot! Also, I loved I could bring my cat since a lot of houses won’t allow it. The View is beautiful and peaceful. Definitely we will coming back! Thank you so much!

Recent Stay

I'd like to start by stating my intention here is not to slam anyone, but to make potential future renters aware of what they're walking in to. While it may be true this cabin is technically water front, the current view in no way reflects the photos apparently taken in winter. The cabin is seriously lacking the items listed, ie: beach chairs, cleaning agents, etc. We started the gas BBQ at 8pm at night and it was out of propane. There we were with steaks ready to go. You can only imagine our frustration. From the dog poop in the enclosed yard under the kitchen window to the the fish hook I stepped on in the living room, this would not be one of your cleaner cabins. The windows were filthy. The owner would be well advised to remove 75% of her personal belongings as it is overwhelmingly full of things EVERYWHERE. We truly felt in the way in some areas. There are no curtains in the loft so forget about one of the beds if you are in any way modest as this bed faces the street. The dock that comes with the house is far around the bend, certainly a 10 minute walk, and the private beach below is anything but as the locals take it over mid afternoon, and by locals, I mean people that you would be cautious to leave anything of value behind if you went for a swim. Between the dogs running loose and the vulgar language, not to mention the loud offensive music and alcohol, this is not the place to bring your children. Again, this is not retaliation of any kind. I just wish I had read this honest reflection of what I was bringing my family to for what was a very special, and expensive, weekend only to have it marred by the above.
