Échappez à North Carolina High Country pour une escapade sans précédent sur le New River historique. Le New River Escape Barn Lofts (2) offre une vue magnifique sur le South Fork de New River à partir d'une suite à concept ouvert et ouverte sur le dessus d'une étable restaurée datant des années 1880. Niché entre Todd et Fleetwood, cet endroit reposant permet aux pagayeurs, aux tubercules et aux pêcheurs d'accéder directement à la rivière New River, les cyclistes et les coureurs accès à Railroad Grade Road et les randonneurs entrant dans les bois derrière 'The Escape'. Les amateurs de livres et les chaises longues trouveront des terrains sereins pleins de points de détente qui rendent les mondes loin du stress de la vie quotidienne. Chez The New River Escape, nous voulons offrir à nos hôtes un havre unique de détente et de tranquillité sur la rivière New River historique et sauvage. Il existe de merveilleuses opportunités à toutes les saisons, depuis les activités de la rivière jusqu'aux très belles feuilles d'automne, jusqu'à la coupe d'arbres de Noël à proximité. La suite disposait d'un système de chauffage et de refroidissement et d'un poêle à gaz qui vous attendait pendant des nuits fraîches. This place was perfect! It is beautiful and roomy and the host was so thoughtful with the smallest details. A complimentary cold beverage waiting in the fridge, cozy bathrobes, and everything we needed was right in the loft. The views are amazing. The bed was comfy. It was so clean and it smelled wonderful. The temps were mild and the open windows and fresh air made for a great experience. Definitely coming back.

Carefully curated for comfort. You can tell the amount of effort the owners take to maintain the property and create a luxury experience for their guests.Well appointed kitchen and bath. "The Best Barn Find"

As you drive across the single lane bridge you already know you have made the right decision on a place to stay. Very secluded location with easy access to Boone and West Jefferson. The loft was a wonderful size with all amenities including a gas fire place and a jetted tub. You won't find a cleaner place to stay and the owner is very engaging and caring. Picture perfect place to stay no matter what time of year.

Wonderful setting on the New River in a beautiful restored French country barn. The loft style room, called French Country, was inviting and very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was fully stock with every cooking utensil, Pots & Pans and coffee maker. The Owners/family were amazing and made us feel very at home. We will be going back again!!

Little slice of heaven

My wife and I needed a place for some rest and relaxation over the July 4th holiday. This was the perfect spot. I was able to ride my bike on Railroad Grade Rd. in the am and we explored WJ and Boone in the afternoon. The location is excellent and AJ and Shane have created a serene environment that allows you to unwind and enjoy all of the beauty this area has to offer.

So relaxing!!

I haven’t had that good of sleep in forever!! So cute and calming! From the high to that tub! Loved it and the host is so friendly but also gives you your privacy! We aren’t used to that with our nosy psycho landlord who lives next door!! It was an amazing getaway and that view isn’t to bad either! Would def recommend!

Heavenly Bliss

The pictures don’t do this place justice. The beauty of the location being nestled in the mountains set an absolute beautiful time of rest and relaxation. Everything was so thoughtfully arranged and prepared for our stay. Not having much experience staying in the mountains we found that traveling in and out of the city can be difficult at night when fog is heavy. We look forward to returning but plan on bringing our food and enjoying this property to the fullest! Thank you AJ and Shane for opening up this beautiful suite for our stay!

Beautiful Place for a Solo or Couples Retreat

This property is so beautiful and peaceful. If you are looking for a place to get away and reset, either on your own or as a couple, I highly recommend coming here. The grounds are gorgeous. You're right on the New River and there are many places to relax on the property. There are also places to walk/hike nearby. I recommend getting all of your provisions and food before you come in so you can really unwind and enjoy this space... once you get here you won't want to leave! The French suite has amazing views, a big tub and there's a kitchen fully stocked with pots/pans and the utensils you need to make or heat up your own food. The owners are very friendly and available if you need anything but they also respect your privacy. They have two adorable dogs and a cat that might also pay you a visit when you're out and about. :) Overall, such a great experience. Don't hesitate to book! Thank you so much AJ and Shane for making my stay extra special!!

Great place to stay, we absolutely loved it. Very clean!!! AJ gave us some great suggestion on places to hike. Elk Knob and Grayson Highlands was fantastic. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet place to getaway.

Spectacular Property

We loved our stay both inside and outside of the loft. Inside had comfy furniture, a great soaking tub and amazing natural light. You can watch the sunset from the tub which is amazing! Outside the property and gardens are spectacular. We enjoyed walking along the river every night! We hope to stay here again soon!

We had celebration of life party and the innkeeper corroding stead but and it was wonderful!

I totally recommend this beautiful facility. Setting is prettiest area I have ever seen. The innkeeper and her family were so kind and gracious!! I highly recommend.

Gorgeous and secluded

The room was absolutely gorgeous and decorated perfectly. My husband loved the seclusion and wildlife. We would visit again, but I would like to have contact information for the owner sooner (telephone number) not email/Vrbo. I think there should have been a key to the outside door as well as one to the room. Anyone can walk in. Need to get necessary information more than 3 days prior to trip. Never met owners even though the information said they would stop by.
