Lovely break in this charming property and location

We really enjoyed our few days stay in this lovely property and location. The property fullfilled all our needs and we could not have asked for anything more. We wish we could have stayed for longer to explore more of this beautiful part of Norflolk.

Perfect property and within seconds of the dunes

Very nice property with secure off road parking. Within seconds of the dunes and 5 minutes away from the pub, chip shop and poppys cafe. Ideal for a family or four adults. Good size garden and secure for your dogs. No lights on the street but torches are provided which is a nice thoughtful touch.

Just perfect

Winterton on Sea is my favourite Norfolk destination. It's perfectly located for the coast and the broads. Amity House is a fabulous property in a great location within the village. The modern kitchen diner is absolutely brilliant and a second shower room is a great addition. The garden was secure - perfect for my dogs. As a regular visitor to the area, we have found 'our place'.

Late summer week away

We are regular visitors to Winterton - a favourite beach based destination. We have stayed at Amity House twice this year and the standard and welcome are first class. The house is well positioned; great for dog walks on the beach/dunes. Winterton Cottages and the property owners are really efficient and accessible. Nothing is too much trouble.

Amity House

Amity House is in a excellent location in Winterton with Dunes and walks on your doorstep, the house itself is perfectly built with the extension and decorated to a high standard. Patio and garden ideal for your dogs as fully enclosed nice and peaceful to unwind, would almost certain book again.

Rainy stay

Amity House is a beautiful holiday home, everything you need for self catering. Winterton village is paradise for doggy walks and dog friendly venues. Although we managed to pick the rainiest week it didn’t stop our enjoyment or chilling out.

Amity house review

This was my 4th stay at Amity House and I will be staying again. Everything about it is fabulous. Location, facilities, cleanliness, hosts and so much more. It is ideal for myself and dogs. If you’re looking for peace and quiet it’s perfect. The garden is wonderfully secure and spacious for the dogs and private too. I love it. Highly recommend

Really lovely stay

Absolutely lovely stay at Amity house. Lovely large garden for our 3 dogs to chill in when we were home and is right by the beach for walks. A really lovely seaside village getaway. We will definitely be back soon!

Could not fault, a goodie box was waiting for us, lovely touch, the house was emaculate, lovely space, light, spotless, colours all matched, the garden was perfect for our dog, not overlooked, could park my car through the gates, Sue the owner, replied to me very quick, lovely weather, we shall return, a 5 star lovely house.

Weekend escape

Amity House in Winterton-on-Sea, booked via the excellent Winterton Cottages, provided a fabulous three-day escape. The property is beautifully maintained, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped, offering a warm, homely atmosphere. Its village setting ensures peace and relaxation, with only the sounds of the sea for company. The house’s proximity to the scenic dunes and coastline made daily walks a highlight. Second Visit

Second visit to amity house and was very enjoyable with the exception of the mattress and pillows in the main bedroom. These were very uncomfortable and unsupportive and need replacing

Fantastic property in a perfect location lost my wife last year and we always used to stay in this property as it was her favourite so glad I plucked up the courage to come back as I do love Winterton On Sea I will definitely come back hopefully next year

Amity House really did feel like home. It is fabulously equipped and in a perfect location for the beach and the local amenities. Sue is a wonderful host and I would definitely recommend this house and almost certainly book again

Comfy house on the edge of the Dunes

First time we have stayed here. We were impressed with the kitchen/diner back extension. Very spacious and light. With a downstairs toilet, shower and washing machine/tumble dryer room added on. The sitting room was comfy. 2 bedrooms front one with en suite. Back one with two singles pushed together is a bit tight. The stairs are very steep. Dogs are welcome. Back garden is big ! And room for off road car parking is a bonus. We would certainly stay here again .

Great mid-week break

A fabulous stay in a very clean, well-maintained and well equipped property. Winterton is just as we remembered it, a shame that the pub has gone downhill a bit (the usual lack of staff from the looks of it). Even the weather was brilliant!
