Very dog friendly at the beach and village no need to get car out to get either.Lovely beach cafe . Can't really imagine how you wouldn't enjoy a laid back holiday here.

Lovely clean cottage fantastic location straight out of the garden gate on to the sand dunes. Lovely food at the Hermanus restaurant open to non residents and dog friendly. Great walks down the beach with no dog restrictions. Great time had by all.

Another year here and yet again, we have had an amazing time. The property was nice and clean and 'Welcome Pack' was great, thank you Whether it is rain or shine, we always love it here, it always feels like a second home to us. Highly recommend, if you are looking for a nice clean, comfy cottage, within easy access to the wonderful clean sandy beach, local dog friendly pub , tea room, shop and absolutely amazing fish & chip shop. Already booked for next year

Exactly as described. Just me and two kids (7 and 9) we could walk to the beach out of the rear gate with all we needed in hand and it takes minutes. One of the best UK beaches I have been on and not too busy, especially considering summer holidays.The property itself is fairly small (as expected) but well appointed with all you need, plus games, internet tv etc for the kids. Great sized garden and rear veiws.The local shop, cafe, fish and chips shop and pub (good food) all literally a couple of minutes walk away.I only drove once all week (everything on Your doorstep) to go to thrigby hall wildlife Gardens (highly recommend)We all loved this cottage and will certainly be back!

Perfect location right by the beach - we travelled with our three dogs and it was perfect. Hardly ever had to put them on leads. The property is spacious and very clean. It’s also close to a local pub (about 5 minute (if that) walking distance) which served good food and there is a small shop within a 2 minute walk if you forget anything. We would definitely return again.

The property had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The secure garden led directly onto the sand dunes, which provided an extensive and safe place to walk our dog. Access to the sea was good too. The one thing we couldn't get on with was the oven, which in our hands didn't get at all hot.

We felt straight at home at Beachside, perfect for the dogs in the secure garden and secure front garden by the car was a good touch too. The walk to the beach is perfect, we didn't want to leave. As others have said the microwave is a bit tricky to use, we worked it out though. We will definitely be back. The seal view cafe is a nice spot to visit and we hired a picnic boatvto explore the broads for the day which was so relaxing.It's a 30 minute walk to Hemsby along the dunes if you want arcades. Or 8 mins drive. We also visited Hirstys family park, nice maze and activities for all ages.The beach in the evenings made a nice relaxing touch to the day watching the seals Bob about and the dogs enjoyed the shallow water and mini sand islands at tide changes. Village fish and chips was so good, be prepared to order and wait 30 minutes, we ordered an popped back to the cottage while we waited, it's so close by, village shop has all you need. We took a food shop and essentials with us, Tesco is a 20 min drive. If you want a peaceful holiday this is the spot.

Lovely location right on the sand dunes Situated in a small village with 1 pub that does lovely home made food , a chip shop a small supermarket and 2 tea rooms , one right on the beach all only a few minutes walk from the house .The house has 1 bathroom situation downstairs, a small kitchen with everything you need , a good size lounge with 2 sofas , 2 bedrooms and a secure garden for the dogs . Lovely walks on the doorstep and lots of seals on the beach further down

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cottage. You truly cannot beat the location—it’s just a stone's throw from the beach and the dunes, which made for some incredible morning walks.It is 100% dog-friendly and our dog loved it as much as we did! The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and felt very welcoming from the moment we walked in. We were especially blown away by the amazing welcome goodies left for us, such a thoughtful and delicious surprise!The kitchen was impressively well-equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home. The beds were comfy and too. A huge thank you to the hosts for being so generous and making our stay so seamless. If you're looking for a relaxing, high-quality getaway in Winterton-on-Sea (especially if you have a dog), I can’t recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back!
