Our 2nd stay at this beautiful comfortable quiet cottage in the heart of Winterton. I cannot fault the cottage. Every attention to detail has been catered for by the owners including dog towels and dog tags. The garden is a great size for dogs to roam around in and is safe and secure. We will be back again soon

Perfect in every way

Natterjack Cottage is by far one of the best self-catering properties we have ever stayed in. Literally everything you could possibly think of was in the cottage we didn't want for anything. The location is excellent just a short walk to the beach and it's so peaceful you could hear a pin drop at night. We will definitely be going back

Just like coming home again

This is our 3rd visit back to Natterjack and it hasn’t changed a bit. Still welcoming and comfortable everything that you can think of is catered for. I made a cheeky request for a slow cooker and Mandy of course listened and there it was beautifully co/ordinating the microwave, kettle & toaster. We were blessed with the weather and able to go on the beach with the dogs as there were no seals around. Can’t wait for Christmas.

Beautiful clean, comfortable, dog friendly cottage. Set in a quiet location and within walking distance to the beach. Fabulous dog friendly garden. Wood burning stove a bonus for those chilly nights. The dog towels and dog tags a nice extra. Very close to the fish and chip shop, local store and pub. We have already booked to stay again. Would highly recommend

Everything you could wish for…

We had a fabulous week staying in Natterjack Cottage. It really was like a ‘home from home’ with everything you could possibly need and more, even the dogs get a beautiful welcome pack. The cottage is kept to a very high standard, nestled in a quiet country lane and within walking distance to the village and beach. The garden is completely enclosed so perfectly secure for dogs to roam, a really lovely place to stay, highly recommend.

Excellent!

The cottage is lovely, clean and has everything needed for a week or longer. Perfect for a couple with 2 children or in our case, 3 dogs. It’s perfectly situated, secluded enough for privacy from the other cottages and a perfect location. We would definitely use the cottage for future trips. Thanks

Natterjack Cottage. Winterton-On-Sea

Natterjack Cottage is a delight! It is like a home from home. Everything you would need is provided. There has been a lot of attention to detail put in to the presentation of the cottage. It is only a short walk to the dunes and the beach. The village has a dog friendly cafe and they cater for those who need a Gluten free diet. The pub is also dog friendly and the food is good. I would definitely book again.

Weekend at Natterjack cottage 28th to 31st March 2025

We had a great weekend at Natterjack cottage. It was great parking the car up on Friday afternoon and being able to walk everywhere. That was one of the reasons for picking the location. The cottage itself is superb. The owners have done a fantastic job of really making it a "home from home." The attention to detail and all the extra touches make it a really comfortable and relaxing stay. We look forward to returning very soon!

Quite and relaxing break

This was our third stay at natterjack and won’t be our last. The cottage is so clean and tidy and everything you would ever need is there. The decor is so lovely. Lovely dog friendly pub in the village and the cod and chips from the chip shop are the best we have ever tasted. Lovely quiet beach is 10 mins walk where you can get a drink and bite to eat and public toilets are available if needed. can’t wait to get back. Mandy and Jonathan have done themselves proud

Perfect little getaway

Natterjack Cottage is a fabulous place to stay, where the owners have thought of everything to make the cottage a real home from home. The kitchen has all that you need if you want to cook up a storm and the appliances are all high end, the lounge area is cosy and comfortable and the bedrooms are a good size with comfy beds and bedding. The cottage was spotless on arrival and the welcome pack was very much appreciated. Even the dog was well catered for with a great enclosed garden, dog towels and treats all provided. The location is also perfect, a lovely little village with a pub that serves lovely food, Poppy’s coffee shop that has amazing cakes, a fish and chip shop and also a small convenience store, all within a 5 minute walk. Add in a 10 minute walk to the incredible beach that is perfect for lovely long walks- what more could you ask for!

Beautiful cottage, great location

Natterjacks is beautiful, very clean, with a secure front garden that was ideal for my dogs. Very quiet as it’s within a courtyard, so no traffic noise other than a couple of neighbours cars, which worked well for my noise anxious dog. Few minutes walk along the road to the pub and the beach, or down the back lane to the dunes. Worked well for us except dogs aren’t allowed throughout, which would unfortunately stop me booking again, otherwise it would be my regular spot for my annual Winterton trip. I wish Winterton Cottages made it very clear on every listing where dogs are allowed in each property as I didn’t realise about no dogs in bedrooms until after paying final balance - the property I rented via them last year allowed dogs everywhere so long as you took own bedding, which with an anxious dog, is important for me.
