L'appartement Silver Heron est un appartement exclusif et unique dans un endroit merveilleux pour profiter du centre-ville de Galway - Ă  5 minutes Ă  pied de tout! SituĂ© sur The Crescent, c'est un charmant vieux quartier rĂ©sidentiel de la ville oĂč vous n'ĂȘtes jamais loin de l'action, mais si facile de se dĂ©tendre loin de l'agitation. Dormir 2+ invitĂ©s Ă  la perfection, l'appartement est au rez de chaussĂ©e de notre solide charmante maison de pĂ©riode sur The Crescent, oĂč votre confort ont Ă©tĂ© soigneusement prĂ©vu tout au long. À l'arriĂšre de l'appartement se trouve la chambre de maĂźtre avec LITS arrangement, et brillant en-suite salle de bain complĂšte cum Buanderie juste Ă  cĂŽtĂ© de cela. Pour le milieu est d'une cuisine superbement amĂ©nagĂ©e, et Ă  l'avant, donnant sur un petit jardin privĂ© et le Croissant - est un brillant belle Salon / sĂ©jour avec canapĂ©-lit trĂšs confortable pour se pelotonner avec un bon livre, ou une table Ă  manger pour pour siroter un verre de vin autour d'un feu rougeoyant dans la cheminĂ©e de calcaire d'origine - trĂšs agrĂ©able aprĂšs une journĂ©e bien remplie et environ!

What a fabulous place to stay if you’re visiting Galway. Liz was an extremely gracious host and actually spent some time with me while I was there. I met two of her children as well. The apartment was beautiful, everything you need is there and the proximity to fun things was great. Hopefully I can stay there another time as well.

Very well located. The parking driveway is very narrow, so be careful of the bump-out on the lower side wall. Other than that, we had everything needed for our stay. We highly recommend.

Check in worked smoothly with a printed version of the thorough directions (not great for reading off a phone). The interior of the apartment had everything we needed and plenty of wonderful books and visiting guides. The apartment is perfectly located next to public transportation and within walking distance of the west end and Latin Quarter.

The apartment was absolutely perfect, the car park was really handy to have (although a tight squeeze to get into it so be confident with your driving), the apartment was so much better than the pictures and a perfect spot for exploring Galway, we were close enough to the hustle and bustle without being kept up by it into the late hours. The kitchen had everything we needed (despite not using it as we enjoyed some fab food out in Galway), the living area was good and you could get Netflix on the TV if you wanted, the bed was comfy and enough space to hang all our clothes up for the weekend!Towels were provided and apartment was spotlessWould 100% recommend to anyone staying in Galway!

Absolutely Stellar

This apartment exceeded all of our expectations. It was spacious, very well equipped, and walking distance from everything. The bathroom is large, and the washer and dryer are in excellent condition. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to make a full meal at home. The living room has a spacious sitting area, and the bed is very comfortable. Oh, and did I mention the heated bathroom floor - like heaven on your feet after a long day... We are quite well travelled, and I can say without hesitation that this is one of the nicest VRBO's we've stayed in. I would highly recommend it!
The river that flows through town. You'll walk over this bridge to get to town center.
Lots to do in town. The electric bike tour is pretty cool!
Galway university has a very pristine campus.

Off-beat digs with a piano!

This property is not a conventional one, it is small and oddly laid out, but the presence of a piano was a boon for my husband, a composer. There is an office upstairs. If you are sensitive to overhead sound you should know that. Also, if you have an oversized car you will not fit between the walls that lead to parking. But we stayed there a week and found that once we adapted to the quirks we were very happy!

Quiet ease

I was looking for a place to write and walk about Galway. This was a great location and VERY quiet! Expect a mile walk to get most places but there was a fantastic little pub three blocks away with nightly music by local friends sitting together, not a tourist place. I chose this place to be sort of near the train station but not in the heart of the city. It was a short Uber ride, too long to walk with a suitcase unless your quite fit or the wheels of your suitcase are quite sturdy, more to the point. It's two blocks from the standard kind of grocery market. So while I didn't have a selection of all the foods I would have chosen, it was happily adequate and I made my meals to focus on being in a little writing pod. The son of the owner helped me get the keys that were not in the lock box and was quite gracious and available. Small and adequate, big bed, and a lovely washer dryer and the floor between the toilet and shower was Warmed from beneath which was wonderful in December when I visited!

Enjoyable Stay

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. We particularly loved the location. Very close to several lively pubs and eateries but far enough away to be v quiet. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the kitchen well equipped the bed comfortable.. Minor quibbles, the duvet was a bit thin and it would have been nice to have a shower mat to avoid slipping

Einfaches Appartement in zentraler Lage

Das Appartement liegt im Erdgeschoss an einer vielbefahrenen Straße zwischen Galway und Salthill....jeweils etwa 10-15 Gehminuten / Tesco 5 Gehminuten. Dies war sehr praktisch, aber laut. Das Appartement ist sehr dunkel....Eingangsbereich = KĂŒche UND Schlafzimmer OHNE Fenster. Im kleinen Wohn/Esszimmer zur Straße gar es ein Fenster mit festem Außengitter, Badezimmer durchs Schlafzimmer erreichbar mit einem kleinen Milchglasfenster zum Parkplatz hinter dem Haus. Matratzen sehr weich, kein Kleiderschrank sondern 2 offene Regale. KĂŒche durchschnittlich ausgestattet. Wenn etwas fehlte, wurde es gebracht...wie Teekanne, Brotbrett/-messer und einiges mehr. WC SpĂŒlung auch nach einer Woche noch defekt. Alles andere wurde sehr schnell repariert. Umzug in die grĂ¶ĂŸere und hellere Wohnung im Obergeschoss/Dachgeschoss. In der 1 & 2. Etage befinden sich BĂŒrorĂ€ume. Der Vorgarten wurde als Außensitzbereich bei Buchung angegeben, aber in einen Mini-Vorgarten an einer vielbefahrenen Straße setzt sich keiner wirklich zur Entspannung hin. Gute, lösungsorientierte Kommunikation mit Liz & Peter, aber insgesamt hĂ€tten wir fĂŒr den Preis eine bessere Leistung erwartet. Die 2. Woche in der oberen Wohnung hat etwas entschĂ€digt.

Charming, Cozy, Convenient

We found this apartment cozy, clean and well-equipped. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, but within easy walking distance of major sites and plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops. The hosts were helpful and well-organized. We enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again!

Tolle Wohnung

Die Wohnung war absolut sauber. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern sehr gut. In der Wohnung war alles so wie in der Beschreibung aufgefĂŒhrt. Es fehlte nichts. Die Lage ist zentral, aber trotzdem wohnt man ruhig. Ein Supermarkt ist in unmittelbarer NĂ€he. In der Innenstadt ist man zu Fuß in ca 10 Minuten. Zum Meer ca 20 Minuten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Kleiner Hinweis zum Parkplatz. Die Einfahrt ist sehr eng. Wir waren mit unserem Hyundai Kona dort.
