Grizzly Rose Guest Cottage est situé sur 35 acres à la propriété connue sous le nom de Ravensnest. Grizzly Rose Guest Cottage se compose de deux chambres, deux salles de bains, une salle à manger pleine cuisine et une véranda enveloppante. Chaque chambre comprend un lit queen-size, un petit coin salon avec télévision / satellite plat. Il ya un parking privé et de nombreux patios et vérandas pour les siÚges extérieurs.

Il y a de la randonnée et de la marche sur la propriété ainsi que des terrains BLM adjacents. Nous sommes situés à l'arriÚre de Mesa Verde dans la vallée face à la montagne Ute Mountain Ute. Ils sont deux roues médicinales sur la propriété ainsi qu'un Tipi pour votre propre retraite spirituelle. La propriété se compose de nombreux étangs et étangs koi.

Ravensnest et le Grizzly Rose Guest Cottage sont un lieu de détente, d'expansion et de paix.

The kitchen had all kinds of gadgets. The bathrooms were fully stocked. There were cute robes in the bedrooms. In short, if it wasn't there,you didn't need it.

Excellent property, great location for exploring Mesa Verde. Michelle was very welcoming and offered us some food recommendations for the local area. The photos do not do this place justice - super cute and quirky. The walk behind the back of the property allowed us to get some great sunrise shots too.

We absolutely loved it here, the owner was very tentative, and just sweet as she could be. When she learned we had never had an indian taco, she went above and beyond and made us one! Thank you! We will definitely be back when we come back out that way!

Besides clean, comfortable, & safe my family could not stop talking about all the unique decorations. My family did not like the taste of the water because we have RO units at home but I had zero problem with the water because I don’t use RO water at home 😜

A Place to Reset

The property is beautiful and so peaceful. My om and I stayed for a few days and loved the clean space, outdoor spaces and the owner, Michelle. She was so kind and responsive. My mom and I have traveled extensively in remote areas and she wants us to come back. We will be definitely be doing that.

Nice little cottage

Stayed here while doing work in Cortez, the location is located 10 minutes feom town and is very nice and well stocked. We bought coffee and forgot filters but there were already some onsite as well as many other things you may need. Host was very nice and checked in with us during the stay to see if we needed anything. She was also nice enough to suggest good dining in the area. My daughter and I took a nice walk along the canal located on the backside of the property. Beautiful sunsets and scenery. Bed was comfortable and it was a quiet and peaceful retreat.

Great get away

I booked this location for my family mainly because of its location to Mesa Verde NP but also for the dark sky opportunities. Michelle is so friendly and kind and the property is very well maintained and can tell so much thought is put into making our stay a wonderful one.

Beautiful getaway!

Really enjoyed our stay. Cottage is equipped with everything you need. Loved having coffee and meals on the back porch. Beautiful view of trees and mountains. The water sounds were very soothing. Will return again!

Fantastic Property, Gracious Host

This property was absolutely gorgeous! Nestled along a tree-filled gulch, filled with flowers and a flowing stream, it was most relaxing. In the evening, the stars were spectacular. Sunrise and sunset were breathtaking. The interior was clean, comfortable, and cozy, and the kitchen was well stocked. Michelle was so gracious! She was knowledgeable about the area, and so friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with her.

Deerhaven guest Cottage, Grizzly Rose guest Cottage and the Bears Den studio apartment are located at Ravensnest. The property was originally owned by my parents and is considered our home place. I purchased it in 1989 from my parents and I have created an incredible Spirit of place. My parents both worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs and dedicated their lives to working on Native Reservations. They were both detailed to Mescalero Apache Reservation. The home was vacant and decided to purchase and created my incredible space. I have dedicated 30 years working in the Arctic Circle helping to provide dental services to the Native Children. I am honored and humbled by my work and am profoundly greatful for the that opportunity.

Ravensnest is situated between the backside of Mesa Verde and the front view of the Sleeping Ute Mountain in the valley south of Cortez. Panoramic views of the entire Valley can be seen on the property. Magical sunsets and superb stargazing can be seen while enjoying your spiritual retreat.
