The space
This self-contained cottage has been renovated to a high standard and contains an open plan kitchen and living area, separate ensuite and double bedroom on the ground floor with a further bedroom with ensuite wetroom on the second floor. Can sleep up to 4 adults. The kitchen is fitted with a fridge, kettle, toaster, combi microwave/oven, coffee machine and dishwasher.
Accommodation in Detail
The property is self-contained, within an annexe of the main farmhouse. The entranceway comprises a private pathway, through a private garden and patio area, towards a large porch area with front door entrance. The porch offers plenty of room for storing walking boots and outdoor clothes. Entering through the front door, you will arrive in an open plan living room and kitchen area, with patio doors providing a view towards further gardens. Within the high quality fitted kitchen, there is a fridge, microwave/oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. The kitchen also hosts a breakfast bar area, for sitting and enjoying a meal together.
On exiting the living area, the hallway leads to a spacious double bedroom, with king size bed. Patio doors are also present within the bedroom, enabling access to the garden area and providing floor to ceiling views of the surrounding countryside.
Access to the 1st floor bedroom is upstairs via a secret door from the cottage. The room is vast with floor to ceiling windows with stunning view of the fells.
The upmarket bathrooms contain a shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Access to the private garden provides a tranquil patioed area, with seating perfect for al fresco dining and stargazing.

Caldbeck, Hesket Newmarket and Greystoke villages are a mere 5 miles away, with pubs providing food in both villages. Enjoy a locally brewed beer in The Crown in Hesket Newmarket, or a dip in the outdoor swimming pool in Greystoke, which is open from May until September.
The market town of Keswick is 15 miles away and offers restaurants, shops, a museum, miniature golf and an indoor climbing wall. Nearby Lowther Castle offers a wonderful day out, with castle ruins, gardens and woodlands to explore.
