Beautiful and spacious location on a large private estate, wonderfully quiet and no disturbance from neighbours. Nice swimming pool and spacious bedrooms with good beds, good Wi-Fi and a large living room located directly by the private swimming pool. We (parents, children and grandchildren) loved it!

A great house to stay in! We had a wonderful holiday. The pool was great. We had opted for it to be heated, and that was wonderful. Really a lovely pool for young and old. Plenty of space in the house, very spacious bedrooms, large bathrooms, a lovely kitchen and outside a wonderful place to sit, even in the evenings. Everything was very tidy and spotlessly clean. The beds were a bit too firm for us, but of course, tastes differ. 😉 The beach was nearby, and you could easily walk there, which was really nice and beautiful. We really had a wonderful holiday. No one wanted to go home at the end of the holiday, haha. Highly recommended! Who knows, we might come back again! Katherine, thank you for your quick responses. Everything was arranged brilliantly.

Lovely villa in a super location, only a couple of minutes walk from the nearest beach and a spectacular cliff walk. The grounds are spacious, with beautiful specimen trees. Very peaceful. Kitchen well equipped, strong wifi, air con for comfortable sleeping. Relaxing around the pool and sipping wine / coffee looking out to sea from the roof terrace were highlights!

Great Villa, excellent location.

Lovely Villa to relax in, has everything you need. Lots to do in the area. Cannot recommend it highly enough. The road to the beach can get a bit busy in August, but Praia Marinha is only a short walk from the villa, and if you go early morning or late evening you will mostly have the place to yourself. Worth a visit.

This was our second stay at Casa Ryder and we loved it, again! Really appreciated the excellent comms with the managing agents and the little touches that made us feel at home (like the Christmas Tree!) We can’t wait to return again in the future and would highly recommend Casa Ryder to anyone looking for a quiet, spacious, well-equipped villa within walking distance of one the Algarve’s most beautiful beaches!

We absolutely loved our stay- we were two families with children and the villa exceeded our expectations. Everything was beautifully clean and the kitchen was really well equipped. Incredibly peaceful surroundings - but just a 5 minute walk to one of the most popular beaches on the Algarve. Would 100% return.

A wonderful stay for myself and two children. lots for them to do, beach walkable and everyone friendly and helpful. The best and quietest beach was on the hiking track East with hardly anyone on it, about a 1 mile hike and totally worth it. gorgeous swimming, snorkeling and kayaking. Villa was clean when we arrived and we even had an extra clean done a few days in.

Great location and villa with all the facilities needed

The villa is comfortable and has all the facilities a family needs, good sized swimming pool that's private - not overlooked, large garden with terrace with views to sea. Short walk to beach and cliff top walks. Very quiet location and remote (for the Algarve). Will need a car to get about. Can recommend local restaurant at top of road, o Rustico Restaurante, very good and typical Portuguese food. Villa host was helpful and attentive, thank you.

Lovely villa and outdoor space

Very spacious indoors and outside with several areas to eat or drink in the sun. The garden has colourful plants and attracts a lot of different birds. The pool was heated in Feb/early March which was nice. The kitchen is well equipped and we were provided with a French press (cafetière) when we requested one. Communications with Elite Rentals were very good. One small point for winter guests is that even on sunny days the property cools down quickly. With no door into the lounge area, heat is lost into the hall and corridor. It is a lovely open space but it would have been good to have had a drape to pull across to keep it more cosy.

Casa Ryder

Home is located near other gorgeous villas. Place was beautifully furnished. Plenty of dishes, silverware and a variety of glasses. Loved having the pool. The location was perfect for us. Short walk to the beach and the cliffs walkway. We weren’t in the center of a busy town which was great. Stores and restaurants were a few minutes drive that we didn’t mind. Bengal caves just minutes drive away. Swing set in the back. Mattress on the full size bed was hard and uncomfortable for me. The supply of toilet paper was low- only 1 additional spare roll in both bathrooms. More trash bags and toilet paper should have been supplied. Though that is minor. Wi-Fi was good.

Very Nice spot

Good place to stay! Nice swimmingpool and the beach very nearby. The interior is a bit our dated. But in summer you are always outside.
