Large 17th Century farmhouse with inglenook fireplace and heated indoor pool

Cilpost Farmhouse is the perfect place for family and friends to gather together to celebrate or simply catch up.

With nine good sized bedrooms (five of which are en suite) and two dining rooms, we can comfortably accommodate 22 plus two babies (in travel cots). There is a large lounge with a stunning inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove, which we can light for you if required. There is also a separate living room with smart TV and a playroom for the kids. The large fully equipped kitchen has a dining table and sofa, so families can chat over a glass of wine while they cook up a storm. There are two dining rooms, one large enough to seat 20+ and the other six, so everyone can eat together. And the two dishwashers ensure that washing up doesn't get in the way of you enjoying your time together.

Outside the house, there is an indoor heated swimming pool, which is warm enough to enjoy whatever the weather. In a separate converted barn is the games room, with table tennis for a post dinner tournament. Alternatively, walk around the grounds and down through the private woods to the stream at the bottom.

Cilpost Farmhouse is about 10 minutes drive from the A40, which is perfect to make it easily accessible while being far enough away to enjoy total peace and tranquility. Less than 1/2 hour to beautiful beaches and Tenby.

If you are looking for the perfect place for a get together with family and friends, this just might be what the doctor ordered.

Fantastic venue
Facilities amazing we didnt need to go anywhere the property had everything we needed. Pool was a favourite & perfect for the children even the baby . Games room was a hit & had everything you needed in it . We were impressed by the provisions provided by the hosts from toiletries to condiments. The grounds were beautiful too . Finally Royston was very friendly & helpful he couldn’t do enough for us if we needed him we just needed to ask . We will definitely return thanks for a great holiday ! Linda, Barry & family

This stay was amazing. You have all the facilities for a large group. The games room, swimming pool all were so amazing. All the rooms were so spacious. It was the most staycation.

We purchased Cilpost (pronounced "Kill-post") Farm in November 2023 and moved to Wales to expand on our holiday letting adventure. Having lived in Oxfordshire, we ran a successful yurt business alongside keeping alpacas. It was so successful and something we enjoyed doing so much, we decided to upgrade and now rent out the Farmhouse to up to 22 guests for get togethers or celebrations. It was quite a step up but guests are giving us great feedback so we are definitely delighted to have taken the plunge.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Cilpost Farm is at the end of its own drive, five minutes from the local town but with no near neighbours. It is surrounded by farmland but you don't have to go far to find life.

Whitland is a lovely town, with a station, Co-Op, a fabulous butcher/deli, coffee shop and some other quirky shops and facilities.

Added to this, there are some super large sandy beaches less than 1/2 hour away by car and lots of activities for kids, young and old.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

It's difficult to say what made us fall in love with Cilpost Farm but the inglenook that is big enough to stand in is certainly one of the features that caught our eye. Also up there is the swimming pool, which is kept really warm by the biomass boiler, which heats the entire house as well - giving Cilpost sustainability credentials too. The sheer size of the place is another unique feature of Cilpost, not just the house with the masses of accommodation guaranteeing everyone a fabulous time but also the grounds, which include a private woodland leading to a steam at the bottom. Oh, and then there's the games room. Having come from a family where table tennis tournaments take place every time we get together en masse, that was another bonus. I could go on - the good sized bedrooms, the large but cosy kitchen ... the list of benefits is endless.
