The information concerning the Residence and the swimming pool is already included in the description published on the platform: "The Domu Lugori de Mari villa is located in one half of a semi-detached house within the Abba Urci residential village in Sarrala, Marina di Tertenia, in the beautiful Ogliastra region. ... omitted ... The Abba Urci Residence consists of 100 residential units, divided into groups of villas ranging from 2 to 5 units each, all with private gardens and a reserved swimming pool. In addition, guests can enjoy the spacious communal green areas and the sports facilities (tennis court, five-a-side football pitch, beach volleyball court and bocce court)." We would also like to clarify that the swimming pool is not shared by the entire Residence, but is reserved exclusively for the small group of homes to which the villa belongs. In our case, it is shared only between two homes. Nevertheless, we appreciate your observation. It prompted us to reflect on the possibility that guests who only read the title of the listing, without reading the full description, might not immediately understand these aspects. Thank you for appreciating the villa, the view, the facilities, and our hospitality. We are sorry about the misunderstanding regarding the pool and feel it is important to clarify one point. The detailed description of the villa on VRBO is the original one, entered when the listing was first published, and has not been subsequently modified. From the very beginning, it has stated that the property consists of two homes and that the pool, which is private and for the exclusive use of the property, is shared between the two units. The booking was made directly on the basis of the information provided in the listing, and prior to your arrival we had not received any questions or requests for clarification regarding the pool. We therefore had no reason to believe that there was any uncertainty about this aspect of the property. We are nevertheless checking with VRBO whether the brief wording used in the listing, including as a result of the translation from English into the different language versions of the platform, may not make sufficiently clear the distinction between a pool that is private to the property and the fact that its use is shared between the two homes. We are also working with the platform to identify an even clearer wording to use in the title or in the summary information, in order to avoid any possible misunderstanding in the future.
