Our family enjoyed an amazing stay while attending a wedding on the island. Property was perfect - spacious, clean and had all necessary amenities and more. Location was amazing given that it was so close to the beach as well as endless walking/running/biking trails. Can't wait to come back!

We had an incredible stay! The house is a quick walk to south beach and a 3 mile bike ride to Edgartown. The outdoor shower and wraparound porch were lovely. The perfect house for a family vacation equipped with beach towels, chairs and boogie boards.

Katie’s place is absolutely wonderful. We have been vacationing on the vineyard for 25 years, and Katie’s home is by far the best rental we’ve stayed in.

Clean, quiet and convenient

Spent an off-season long weekend at this cute retreat in Katama. Such a great light and airy house with easy access to the beach. It had everything we needed for a getaway. A 10 minute easy drive to Edgartown was a daily treat for restaurants and shopping, though we could have made anything we wanted with a well stocked kitchen. Loved this spot. Would absolutely return again.

Great spot for a getaway

Great location in a quiet neighborhood, short walk via a pedestrian path to south beach makes for easy beach days. Also convenient walk to Winnetu for dinner and drinks to watch the sunset. House had a great layout and entertaining spaces, as well as comfortable bedrooms. Perfect for families that need space, or friends looking for a getaway with privacy for a few days/week

House on the beach

Just steps from South Beach. We’ve been staying on the Vineyard for years, and this by far is our favorite. Listen to the waves crashing on the beach, while you drink your morning coffee, or a drink at night. The house is beautifully maintained and Katie was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you for a great stay!

Loved it!

Great location and beautiful house. Perfect location for those with young children. Private paved road for the children to rollerblade on. Short walk to the beach. The house itself was the perfect setup for children and parents on one level and other adults on upper level. Great kitchen and dining area. I, my adult children, and grandchildren had the best vacation!

Beautiful location

The overall process of communicating with the owner was excellent, check-in, and checkout was seamless. Location of the property was on a street that had very little traffic had wildlife walking around. The walk to South Beach was around 5 to 7 minutes. Great house, great location, get owner.

Wonderful House Near South Beach

This house couldn't be in a better location -- very close to the spectacular South Beach, walking distance to the Winnetu resort restaurant and Katama Kitchen and an easy bike ride into Edgartown. The stylish yet comfortable decor and high end linens made our stay special. We cooked multiple large meals in the well appointed kitchen and ate them on the deck listening to the crashing waves. Katie was a gracious and responsive host. 5 stars all the way!

Beautiful and serene!

This was my first time renting a vacation home and I hit the jackpot. Katie is so responsive, nice and helpful as a host and the home is gorgeous
 roomy and bright and very stylish- plenty of room on 2 levels for my 2 sisters and our friends for a girls’ trip. The windows are incredible and the views are soothing - there is so much privacy due to the beautiful trees around the property. The location is perfect - the stunning South Beach is only a few min walk away and it’s only 2-miles from downtown Edgartown. It’s got everything! We’d love to visit again. I already miss falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing.

Vacation perfection!

This beautiful house worked perfectly for our group of 8 made up of two families with school aged children. The walk to the beach is very short and so special with a small bridge over a creek. The proximity to Katama Farm and the grass airfield was also a bonus for our family. This area was stunning and also connected by dirt roads to our home, thus we could all ride carefree with our differing abilities around the dirt roads amongst the fields. The bike path is also right at the end of the quiet road on which the house is situated so we enjoyed very easy access for daily rides to Katama general store for breakfast or ice coffee and popsicles! The house itself was exceptionally clean, stylish and bright stocked with endless beach supplies and also games for the one rainy day we had during our stay. The kitchen is the most well stocked kitchen I have ever encountered on our nearly 10 vacations through VRBO (even including condiments and tinfoil, etc) so we did not have to purchase such small use items. The only small glitch for us was an unreliable internet connection but Katie (owner) was rapidly responsive and incredibly helpful in this situation.. I would enthusiastically recommend this property without hesitation and hope we will be able to stay here again in the near future!

Wonderful property, wonderful host.

Everything was provided to makes one stay as perfect as possible. Beatutiful house in a beautiful locaation with with a 5 minute walk to the beach. We were a family with three adult couples plus a four and a half year old and an almost 2 year old. The house had plenty of space to accomodate us all. For the last several years we have stayes at VRBO properties every summer and this house was without a doubt the best we have ever stayed at.. I can not recommend it more highly.

Wonderful time with family and friends

We had a wonderful time with family and friends!This was my first ever VRBO rental and I was nervous but Katie is an excellent host. The home has all the amenities you need to make cooking and entertaining easy. There’s a beautiful breeze off the ocean that you will enjoy all day. Thank you Katie for a wonderful stay!
