Maison neuve, nichée dans les bois de l'île. Près de la marina d'eau salée avec quai pour votre bateau et lac d'eau douce à un pâté de maisons pour la pêche.

Magasin général pittoresque, terrain de golf et restaurant sur les rives du lac Joséphine, l'un des deux lacs d'eau douce de l'île.

Il y a aussi une ferme historique avec des boutiques de cadeaux et un musée que vous pouvez visiter. Le moment idéal pour partir est pendant la compression annuelle d'Apple où vous pouvez presser votre cidre comme il l'a fait sur l'île il y a plus de 100 ans.

We had a wonderful time during our stay on the island! We went for Christmas and it was the best Christmas we'd had in years! The house we rented was exactly what it said it was, cozy and perfect for a family gathering. The property was clean and had a very efficient use of the space. We would definitely stay there again!

We all had a great time! The beds were very comfortable, The kitchen had everything we needed. I was impressed with how big the living room and dining rooms were. Great layout of the house. We had easy access to the lake. So all in all I would definitely rent this home again!

Host was great. Easy access. Quick responses to our questions. House was… questionable. Carpets dirty but I can forgive because it’s a forest environment. Master bath shower curtain rust/mildew at the bottom. Hall bath toilet seat not connected to toilet????? Last was the weirdest. No beds had a top sheet. Had fitted bottom sheet but no top sheet. Just a blanket/comforter. Weird. They sell them in sets don’t they? All in all the house did the job for us. The surroundings are beautiful and the house was warm and dry with a nice kitchen and big screen TV. A little maintenance will make the place 5 stars.

Great space for a group

We found this property to be spacious, clean, quiet and close enough to the lakes and amenities to enjoy all that the HOA has to offer.

Great place to gather

We enjoyed the private small backyard and patio, and walking just 2 minutes to a lake dock. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the large living room was good for our group to play games in. Thanks to Greg for the accommodations!

Relaxing retreat

We had a nice retreat in a peaceful neighborhood. The owner was great with communicating and responding quickly to questions. The house had everything we needed and provided a nice getaway.

Great location

House was just up the road (3-5 minute walk) from a swimming dock. Our family had the dock to ourselves our whole trip. Owner replied quickly to all of my questions.

Perfect Vacation Spot

Large convenient house, secluded back yard, steps away from the lake!!!! Totally enjoyed the Swimming Hole!!! Water slides, area for little kids, warm water!! We will be back!!!!

We enjoyed our stay on the island. We talked to a lot of friendly people. The biggest drawback is that you are at the mercy of the ferry schedule

Yes, there is a ferry ride but has a beautiful scenic view of the Puget Sound. Ferry does run every hour from early morning to late at night and is only a 15 to 20 minute ride. Download the app "Anderson Island Assistant: and you can see the schedule on your smartphone and purchase tickets from your phone.

As advertised.

Property was as advertised. It's a little close to the resort areas for my personal preference, but others might like the location a lot. The house is larger than It seems from the description and would probably be adequate for a larger group. We may come back with kids.

A Perfect Getaway

It was the second time we reserved the house this year. Nice specious house with no stairs. There is plenty of everything for your needs. Perfect covered outdoor seating area!!! We spent most of our time outside, even though it was raining. A couple of reindeers came to visit us. We are definitely coming back in the summer.

A stunning getaway

We had a large family gathering at this house and the experience was amazing. My wife and I got married in the back yard in a small ceremony which was simply beautiful and private! Everything you need to have an amazing time with the family and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This house boosted the perfect balance of nature and quite relaxation. We found the community to be very friendly and helpful. Our family gives this rental and all the amenities a five star rating! Once again to the owners thank very much and many blessings to you.

Relaxing time on Anderson Island

We brought our teen grandkids for a short vacation...despite the fact we had some unusually cloudy weather, we had a lovely stay. The house has a few quirks, but overall was very comfortable and lots of room to spread out as well as to be together. We went to both lakes....they were wonderful and we are always surprised at how empty they are. Be sure to plan your trip back so that you are in line for the ferry...if you miss it during the week, you can wait quite awhile since the times are spread out more. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR HOME!!

Good but needs repairs.

Bathroom towel hooks need replacing; no towels were on them when we arrived and soon found out why when couldn’t use. The dishwasher settings wouldn’t work except for a 99min cycle on one rack or something. The video game pedal broken. Coffee pot leaks underneath. The place very old and outdated, but we saw that on pictures. Good luck.

Perfect location

We had a group of 10 people, including children and adults. This was a great accomodation to fit us all. We added a tucked away futon to the twin bedroom and two kids slept on the L- shaped couch instead of the pull out sofa because it was quick and easy. Lots of linens and towels were available. Host brought us dish soap when we were running out. The arcade machines were a hit with the kids. The best part of the location is that it's a block or two away from Lake Josephine that doesn't have any motorized boats. If you have access to kayaks, definitely bring them! Our crew had fun swimming there as well. I will note that we had a little mouse situation on the last day, getting into our loaves of bread and a new bag of chips. We didn't have any issues the previous days and it's country living so it doesn't bother me, but just wanted to give a heads up to keep an eye on your food or keep it in a tub with a lid. The only other thing I'd wish for was enough plates and bowls for everyone, but we were able to make do. Overall, we are very grateful to be able to stay at this place and would definitely consider staying here again. Thank you to Chris for making this available!

Great Area to Stay with Family

The house is definitely bigger than it looks in photos and that was a great plus. Unfortunately, there was mouse droppings noticed in quite a few places and we had to vacuum because there were a few fleas. Now, this is definitely the season of fleas, so that can happen anywhere, but it still ate up a little bit of time and our Autistic child struggled with thinking there were going to be more found. Overall, the house was nice though. Applicances were great, one of the arcade games (racing one) didn't work and that was our main reason for choosing this particular house. The owner was not in country at the time of our stay and that made it hard to get ahold of them with any concerns. We had learned that the owner had to confirm we were staying there, so that we could get fishing passes and though they said they would, the lady never received anything, so we were unable to fish in a couple of the lakes or off the dock on the bay. There was plenty of toys and entertainment items in the house for a range of kiddo ages though and that was appreciated. If we went back though, we would most likely choose a different home.

Glad you like the large size of house. I am be wildered about the comment of fleas. It is a completely pet free home. No animals allowed. There has been no similar before or since. We had the carpets cleaned but I think there was some other element maybe allergies to wilderness not sure what it could be. We also have a professional service contracted to take care of any pests. We were out the country at the time with unreliable data. We have since been able fix and we are rarely out of the country so very unlikely in the future. Most amenities are open and available for guest to use at any time.
