Great location!

This was a great location for snorkeling and walking the beach in 6 minutes from the door! The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have some outdoor space for dinner, cards etc.

The best vacation

My adult daughter and I stayed. We have family on the island who came over a few times to walk with us to the nearby Charley Youngs Beach, then come back for a visit. The condo was perfect for us, and we enjoyed our stay. We loved the location, which was perfect for walking and driving. We would stay again.

Maui Vista

We have booked through AA Oceanfront a few times now and they are particularly easy to work with. Always courteous and accurate with their listings. This particular unit is a really good value in my opinion and directly across the street from one of our favorite beaches.

Convenient and Clean

This condo was easy to find and access upon our late night arrival. The accommodations are very clean, the beds including pullout sofa, comfortable. Ground floor lanai was pleasant and in a garden area. Right across the street from the beach.

Good location

My stay in the unit was good. The unit bedroom was a little too dark for me. The kitchen and living room was nice and bright. The unit is in a good location. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful property

This unit was very nice easy to get to friendly people the only drawback was the fans had not been cleaned in a while so when they were on it could get dusty if you didn’t clean them

It was a great location, but worn down and dated

The location was good, it was close to the beach and amenities. The condo itself was dated and not that clean. I had to wash the floors and actually bought new pillows for the bedroom. It just seemed a little worn out and tired. But as usual Maui is beautiful and always a great trip.

Needed a fresh look

Some of the updates to the condo were nice. But the furnishings were very old, out dated and wore-out. I couldn.t sit on the couch without sinking nearly to the floor. (and I'm not a big person). There is a rug in the living area that looked very old and badly worn. All in all not as impressive as most of our stays at Maui Vista.

We had a great time here!

This condo was clean and well equipped. Though situated in a large complex, we liked that it is nicely furnished with a pretty park around it including 3 pools that we enjoyed a lot. Dishwascher, washer/dryer in the unit, free parking outside, and just a few minutes' walk to restaurants, take-aways, shops, beach and playground made it very convenient. Kihei is the perfect place to be, especially in January where we much enjoyed waching wales from the shore. We had a great time here! Suggestions for improvement are: light on the lanai, more shelf space in the bathroom, better WLAN connection (but with the cable internet worked fine), fixing the dining table before it collapses (one screw in the right side is missing and the other keeps falling out).

It was perfect and very convenient to everything

This condo was perfect for my husband and me. We had a small hiccup the first night but it was attended to very promptly in the am. It had everything we needed. The first floor lawn access was the best we just went out the sliding door to the beach. Everything is literally like a 4 min walk in either direction. I definitely recommend staying here and will come again. Only thing i would recommend changing (maybe its the entire building) is everyone is about WiFi (posting pics to snap FB IG and uploading is so slow)..... Its super slow! Other than that loved it!!! Thanks guys

Just across the street from the beach!

We enjoyed our stay! The condo is right across the street from the beach, which was our top reason for staying here. You can walk to the beach, many restaurants (Penny’s Pizza & Pasta was our favorite!!!), many stores, food trucks and anything else you need. The location made this place worth it for us!! Now for honest feedback on the condo. There is AC in the unit, however It does not reach the bedroom in the back. They have a ceiling fan and have provided an additional fan which was helpful but at times it was very stuffy in the bedroom. We slept on the pullout in the main living area for our last night and could breathe much easier out there. The beds themselves aren’t the most comfortable but tolerable. There are only 2 or 3 strangler horizontal blinds left hanging in the bedroom so you’ll be waking up with the sun. We didn’t mind this part as we wanted to be up early to experience all Maui had to offer! The condo could definitely use some TLC and upgrades but overall we enjoyed our experience here and don’t regret booking!

A Maui mix

The unit location is convenient as it's in the first building of the complex. Furnishings were comfortable although somewhat worn. Great bathroom lighting. We called AA Oceanfront management for several minor repairs and they were very prompt. Roaches were very prevalent even after management gave us some Combat traps the 2nd day. Finally they lessened after we set out 12 more traps the 2nd week when we were near to leaving. This was a big nuisance as well as time consuming. Also the last evening we were there the TV was not working. It said to call the Spectrum number to restore or activate the account. We called but of course we didn't have the account number. Compared to last year's first floor condo in the same complex it was lacking in the extra items for the variety of outdoor activities. Also it didn't have the roach infestation. The VRBO printout had several taxes and none were specified--not good. In talking with a local acquaintance who rents out a Kihei property there are only 2 taxes. AAOceanfront Realty managenent and the beach were the highlights of the stay.

Right after you departed, we did have a roach clean-out done in the unit. For this, everything gets taken out of all cabinets, drawers, and closets and the unit gets sprayed for roaches. Since the clean-out, there have not been roaches in the unit. In addition, the unit was sold after your departure and now has new owners who are planning to update and be very involved in their condo. Because of the inconveniences during your stay, we did apply a refund to your credit card on your departure date. Mahalo for mentioning our AA Oceanfront staff! Customer service is our number one priority, and we're happy we could help you with the issues you had during you stay. We do hope to host you again soon! Out dated and not clean

We arrived at our condo and the first thing we had to do was open the bed to put the kids to sleep and the sheets were disgusting and dirty we had to wash them. Upon further examination we looked around and the curtains were covered in mold, the bathroom shower curtain was covered in mold the floor was dirty made our feet black it was not a pleasant experience. Also every time we walked in the whole condos just smells like mildew and mold. I would never recommend this place to anybody. You would think somebody who owns a condo would make it a nice experience so that you'd want to come back and rent it again. That was horrible.

first floor and great location!

Location is perfect! They provide you with all the essentials, even for the beach! The floors weren’t the cleanest, but I’m sure sand is hard to keep up with all year round! We would definitely stay there again!

Maui Vista

Liked the location of the unit with it’s nice lanai. However it was not very clean. The bath floor mat had never been picked up and washed, the sheets weren’t terribly clean, there was no laundry detergent left for us as stated, we had to vacuum sand out of the dryer before using and the lint filter is in poor shape and the hair dryer did not work. It could be a nice unit with some TLC and a real good cleaning. Check in was easy and we like the closeness of Charlie Young beach. We have stayed in some nice units in the Maui Vista, but this one had some maintenance and cleanliness issues.

Needs upgrades

The location of this unit is ideal. We loved the ground floor walk out. Maui Vista is right across from the Charley Young beach access. The BBQ area is clean and the complex is very well kept. For the unit itself, It is in need of upgrades - dining room chairs are worn, microwave panel is broken, hair dryer shorted out and is unsafe, the mirror in the bathroom is stained. The beach chairs and umbrella are broken and dirty. Overall we were a bit disappointed for the price we paid. Especially when we talked with other renters and compared units. We are planning another trip to Maui but not to this unit.
