Great place to stay

Feels like a place where the owner actually stays sometimes which is appreciated because it has all the amenities and personal touches that come along with that. 8 person trip, felt like everyone had plenty of space.

We so enjoyed our stay! Everything was as expected and the house was so close to the beach and pool, making it perfect for our family with young kids! We will definitely be returning some day!

Fabulous Family Vacation

Amazing location and a short walk to the beach. House was very well stocked with everything we needed. Communication with owners was quick and very thorough. My family and I have vacationed in many homes in this community, and this was by far the favorite so far!

close to the beach + perfect family home

We loved the location and set up of this home. We were close to a beach access, had great outdoor space (the home backs up to the lake) and there were plenty of bathrooms. Two families of five made this their home for a week, and it never felt tight. We will definitely book this again!

Best Kept Secret

Once Upon a Tide was an excellent property for our group of 11. This community has to be one of the best kept secrets in Florida. The amenities and location provide for the perfect getaway. Money well spent.

Our family ranges from 10 years old to 76. This beautiful house accommodates all of us perfectly and the location couldn't be better. So thankful for the time we were able to spend here.

Once Upon a Tide was absolutely beautiful! The home was very spacious and comfortable. The views were amazing and the beach access was very close. It felt like we had the beach to ourselves. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again.

Wonderful stay! We've been coming to Carillon for years and this is the best house we've been lucky enough to stay at. Perfect location - just a few steps to the beach - easy to run back home for a snack or forgotten items. Plenty of space for a growing family. The four kings and en suites cannot be beat. One of our favorite parts was the view of the lagoon - even when you're not at the ocean you're still getting a great view. The host was very responsive and you can tell they take great pride in providing a thoughtful stay for others. Thank you! We hope to stay here again.

Amazing!

We have stayed in several houses throughout Carillon and this is by far our favorite. The house itself is amazing with plenty of room for our group of 10. The setting is extremely private and secluded with lake views out the back and the beach literally a few steps from the front door. It was close enough to the beach that we didn't have to load up everyday as we could just hop back and forth to the house to make lunch, drinks, etc... This area of the neighborhood is also very quiet and the beach walkover location is also very private. We only had one or two other families anywhere near us all week during spring break. The owner was also very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We'll be back for sure!

Awesome beach trip!

This is a wonderful beach house. My adult family of seven had a great time at Once Upon a Tide. The house was beautiful and relaxing with the lake off the back patio. The beach was truly a quick walk across the non busy street that made it easy to go back and forth without feeling like you have to pack everything and haul it for the day. The kitchen was very well stocked and the grill was great. Having the extra ice machine was a bonus as we usually have to buy extra ice- but not this trip. We have been going to the 30A area for about 15 years and we loved this location. The beach wasn’t crowded at all and having the beach loungers and umbrellas set up for us was wonderful. The beds, linens and towels were top notch and allowed for a comfortable night’s sleep. We will be looking to come back again.

Once Upon a Tide

Fantastic house in a perfect location for spring break with the family. I can’t say enough about the owner who went above and beyond for us during our stay. Very well stocked and so thoughtful - enough toilet paper, paper towels, toiletries, and laundry detergent to last the whole week which is unusual in a home rental. They also overnighted us a mail key when I mistakenly ordered an Amazon package to the home (FYI, not all mail delivery services are allowed to leave packages on the front porch!). Great communication. The Dyson cordless vacuum is so helpful when your kids keep bringing sand in despite the outdoor shower! Very well built home - we slept like babies in the beds and heard zero noise from our kids or the outside once we closed the doors. They also had 5 bikes for our use and the home is spitting distance from the beach walkover. Would 100% stay again.

My family of 5 had an amazing time at Once Upon a Tide. The house is beautiful. The location is the absolute best. We have stayed in Carillon several times and this was my favorite location. It is very close to the beach walkover. This particular walkover seems to be much less crowded than others. Dan, the property owner, was most attentive and was very kind to my family. We will definitely return!

Family vacation

First whole family vacation in many years. My sone and daughter in law just moved home from Korea.. and it had been three years since we’ve seen them because of Covid. This was the perfect home away from home for a perfect family reunion!

We love Once Upon a Tide

Our family and friends love to gather here. This was our second stay at Once Upon a Tide. The house is beautiful and peaceful. Steps away from Carillon Beach. The beach feels private and you can't beat the Sunsets there. Some of the prettiest water we've ever seen. Mgmt provides lounge chairs on the beach which is awesome. They also have kayaks, bikes, and boogie boards. We brought our paddleboard and watched the dolphins up close. We like to sit on the back porch in the evenings and listen to the frogs sing. What we greatly appreciate is what is provided by the property. Mgmt provides hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher pods, full bottle of detergent, bar soap, shampoo and conditioner and cleaners. There's plenty of towels and linens. The house and kitchen are nicely appointed. The "good ice" (think Sonic or Chic-fil-A) maker is a hit with everyone. Beds are comfortable and decor is beautiful. Conveniently located to Seaside/Rosemary/Alys/PCB and Publix is less than a mile away. We will book again!

Beach perfection

This was our second year in a row to stay at 'Once Upon a Tide' and included kids/grandkids. The home is exceptional and beautifully decorated and spacious. We were provided the full compliment of beach chairs, kayaks, floats and beach toys for the kids. Our direct interaction was with Dan Allen, the property owner, and he was proactive and precise with his communications and recommendations. A wonderful experience from start to finish--highly recommended!

Just right for our family.

We had been looking for a property that had 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. This house filled that need and was close to the beach. Hope to stay there again next year.
