The Bungalow is a fabulous, detached property, encircled by a large garden, providing ample space for relaxation and outdoor activities. With off-road parking on the driveway, this convenient base is perfect for exploring the surrounding coastline.. 2 steps to entrance.

Positioned at the top of the scenic harbour village of Staithes, you’ll find a large village pub serving home-cooked meals, a small village supermarket, and a fish and chip shop just a short stroll away. Venture down the steep bank into the heart of the old village to discover an array of charming cafés, pubs, shops, an art gallery, and a museum documenting the area’s fascinating nautical past.

The Bungalow offers a home-from-home experience. Children can play and dogs can explore the vast garden, while adults relax and unwind with all the comforts of home. Upon entering the property, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen featuring a large range cooker with a double oven and a five-ring induction hob, perfect for preparing delicious meals to enjoy together.The open plan living area is bright and welcoming, with glass doors opening onto the elevated patio and large garden beyond. Here, you’ll find comfortable sofas around the TV and a dining area for family gatherings. The Bungalow boasts three beautifully appointed bedrooms: a master super kingsize, a kingsize, and a single bedroom, ensuring a comfortable and restful stay. The property also includes a shower room for added convenience.



Outside in the garden, you can enjoy the sunshine and end your day with a stone BBQ, perfect for alfresco dining after a day of exploring this fabulous area.

Staithes is a charming fishing village with narrow, winding streets and traditional cottages, as well as boats bobbing in the harbour. The surrounding coastline offers more picturesque destinations such as Runswick Bay, Whitby, and Robin Hood’s Bay. Attractions in the area include boat trips from Whitby harbour, the heritage steam train over the moors, and surf schools at Whitby and Saltburn. The Cleveland Way offers scenic walking trails with breathtaking views, making it a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. The Bungalow in Staithes is the perfect base for a memorable coastal retreat, blending relaxation with adventure in the heart of North Yorkshire.

Recently had a lovely four night break at The Bungalow.

Recently had a lovely four night break at The Bungalow. It was clean and comfortable with everything you need for a holiday. The beds especially comfortable. It is in an ideal spot to walk into Staithes and leave the car. We did a lovely walk along the cliff tops then back through the woods and a pint in the Fox and Hounds in Dalehouse. The pub that time forgot , just fabulous. Finished the day with fish and chips from local shop. Would certainly recommend.

Fabulous stay. The bungalow was spotless with high quality kitchenware, comfortable beds, large garden and some lovely personal touches like board games and welcome pack. Straightforward check-in. Would return without hesitation.

Booked here for a weekend away with my wife and our two dogs.

Booked here for a weekend away with my wife and our two dogs.Excellent peaceful location at the end of a cul-de-sac with off-road parking for two or three cars and a large wooden gate to secure the driveway and large garden, and some handy outside lights.The kitchen had everything we needed, including a multi-oven electric range cooker, a microwave and dishwasher, as well as tea-cloths, surface spray, washing up liquid and dishwasher tabs.The lounge and dining area were comfortable and bright due to two full height windows, and had a selection of games and toys.The large bathroom was large, with a floor level walk-in shower separated by a large glass screen.The main bedroom had a really comfortable super-king bed.There is a Co-op about eight minutes walk, a chip shop about four minutes walk and the centre of Staithes is about a ten minute walk from the property. There are also a few cool beaches within a fifteen minute drive: Skinningrove (massive), Runswick Bay (steep walk from the car park) and Sandsend.You can buy fuel cheaper than anywhere else we saw at Hinderwell Service Station (ten minute drive) and Whitby is only twenty minutes drive away.This property was amazingly clean and the photos don't really do it justice.We will definitely be booking again.
