Les touches finales sont complètes. Mises à jour comprennent une nouvelle cuisine personnalisée avec comptoirs en béton et appareils électroménagers en acier inoxydable, nouvelle salle de bain avec douche à l'italienne et tout autour des mises à jour générales. Confortable maison de 2 chambres est situé directement sur la rivière Kokose pensée pour traduire des Indiens Algonquins et signifier "Rivière des Petites Chouettes". La cabine est à une courte distance de Kenyon College, Apple Valley Lake, Ohio Amish pays et des tonnes et des tonnes de grands parcs, sentiers de randonnée, pistes cyclables et la chasse. Grande pêche hors des banques dans la cour arrière. De nombreuses espèces sauvages différentes ont été aperçues, y compris des aigles, des faucons, des visons et des cerfs. We arrived the afternoon of a snow storm and it was a beautiful winter wonderland. Our host Al reached out the following morning and coordinated a time to come by to clear the deck, walkways and the driveway. We came back to a clear area so we could enjoy the hot tub and the fire pit on the back deck. Being closer to the road I worried at first but when you’re inside the sound you hear from any traffic is very minimal. We are planning a stay in the summer to enjoy the river activities. We did have visitors in back of several deer and a couple raccoons that were very curious one evening. This place is a little hidden gem.

Loved the location for Kenyon family weekend. Perfect serene cabin in the woods. Great place to get away and recharge. Loved being right on the river and able to hear the critters splashing around. The cabin has everything we needed for the weekend. Would definitely book again.

My wife and I came here for an anniversary trip and loved it. The house is secluded, well kept, and inviting. We enjoyed the various amenties offered including the deck firepit, outdoor shower, and hot tub. The road is very close to the house but you don't really notice it.

The house fit our needs perfectly. Is right on the main road but didn’t bother us as made it easy for our day excursions. Enjoyed the hot tub in the morning when the air was chilly.One of the highlights was sitting out on the swing by the river. A bald eagle flew right over us as we sippped on a complimentary glass of wine. Would not hesitate to stay again.

It was a clean cabin. I really enjoyed the complimentary wine and pumpkin bread. My dog loved playing ball in the backyard. We wanted to try kayaking but maybe another time. Only reason for four stars and not five was the water. Definitely a smell to the faucet and shower water tho but not a huge deal.

Very sweet place along a river. We used the kayakes, the hot tub, the fire pit,and went fishing. Great place to unwind and set by the river. There were little towns to go shop and eat out.

This is the second time we have visited the cabin for our anniversary. And as before, we really enjoyed our stay.The house was very clean. Beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the complementary pumpkin bread and bottle of wine.The views were exceptional. The greatest improvement we found from the last time was the steps to the river. It made fishing and getting into the river, so much more easy.The only downfall, of course, is the traffic noise but honestly, after a while, you don’t even pay attention to it.

Beautiful get-away

Check in was very easy however we passed the house getting there. That could have been our maps. Everything you could possibly need was there and then some. The extras were beyond fantastic. The only reason I gave four stars to cleanliness was because there was something in the hot tub. They messaged me back immediately and sent the cleaner out. Turns out it was just a little piece of deck paint. Not a big deal. The only reason for four stars on location was because the main road was very loud during the day. There was almost no traffic there in the evening and it was extremely peaceful. Of course we used the hot tub and took the kayaks out. The wine and the pumpkin bread were just fantastic! Very attentive hosts. Definitely would recommend.
Beautiful day on the river!
Thoroughly enjoyed the deck, the fire pit and the hot tub.
Relaxing and watching people float down the river.

My daughter and I had an excellent stay at the cabin. The property was exactly as described. We had no difficulty finding it. Our dog Ellie loved exploring and running around the large lot The deck was a lovely area to relax at night. The cabin itself was clean, cozy and comfortable. I appreciated the instructions and information pertaining to the care of the cabin. It was welcoming and stocked with everything we needed and more! We also appreciated the use of the kayaks and had a wonderfully relaxing experience! We absolutely recommend this wonderful property!

We had the most amazing time staying at this charming cottage on the river for our sisters' trip! From the moment we arrived, we could tell the hosts put so much care into making sure their guests have an unforgettable stay. They truly thought of everything — from insect repellent and coffee filters to a sweet welcome gift of a bottle of wine and delicious locally made pumpkin bread.The location was peaceful and beautiful, right on the river. We loved tubing, fishing, and relaxing in the hot tub while soaking in the scenery. The cottage was cozy, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. You have everything you could need from a grill, kayaks, tubes, fire pit, hot tub and comfortable beds. This was the perfect place for us to reconnect and unwind. We were married in 1995 and are from the local area. We currently reside in Apple Valley so this cabin is just a short drive enabling us to make sure that your stay goes without a hitch. While we own several rentals in the area this is our first vacation rental. We often use VRBO when we travel, which we do often. I have been a full time REALTOR with RE/MAX and have been licensed since 1987. Sue manages the books and any other areas that need attention with our many ventures.

This property came up at the local foreclosure sale and I fell in love with it!, My wife not so much. This was a very big project and there is not 1 square inch of this place that we didn't touch. It was a lot of fun seeing my wife warm up to it. My wife is known to have very particular requirements in any place we stay. Our friends have all told us that once I can get my wife to stay here it is ready for the public; my wife now loves to stay here. Its just a short trip from our home but feels like vacation.

River, river and river. This cabin is great: really comfortable inside and nice enough for a girls escape, family fun, romanic coupe time, or mens fishing/hunting trip. A super clean river like the Kokosing running through the back yard just makes it! Super large deck, outdoor shower, great access to so much, all adds to the value. The river and newly added hot tub just have a way to ease all of the tensions of the "daily grind".
