Welcome to the heart of Florence! Located on Via Guelfa, this charming apartment offers you the chance to live an authentic experience just a stone's throw from the central station, the magnificent Basilica of Santa Maria Novella, the lively Mercato Centrale and the main points of interest of the city.

The apartment is located on the third floor of a typical building in the historic center (without elevator) and is spread over two levels, combining a rustic style with modern elements to offer a comfortable and welcoming stay.

On the lower level, you will find a large living room/kitchen perfectly equipped for all your needs, with a sofa bed for additional guests. Two double bedrooms and a single bedroom guarantee space and privacy, while a modern full bathroom with shower and bidet adds a touch of comfort.

The upper level hosts a bright triple bedroom, a service bathroom and a small but delightful balcony where you can relax and enjoy the view over the rooftops of Florence.

Very excellent location and fabulous price! It could have been cleaner and the water was only luke-warm and there was not much seating in the small gathering space, but overall it was great. Beds were comfortable, there was enough space for the whole family and we used it as a base to explore Florence.

This place was amazing! It wad very spacious and clean. It’s in the heart of Florence which makes for an easy walk to all of the major attractions. The host was super friendly and explained everything thoroughly. They reached out before to give us check in instructions and even let us check in early! It’s about 3 flights of stairs up but very worth it to be so close to everything. Overall, an amazing place, and an even better host!

Very Spacious

My daughter and I had a great time here. The place is spacious and we loved the little balcony off of the kitchen. You just need to be ready to climb the stairs. It’s on the top floor.

Fine in Florence

Spent one night here, it was fine. When checking out and looking under the beds, we discovered that they don't thoroughly clean (nothing like sleeping above someone else's underwear). Neighborhood is fine but not the nicest. Communication was all off-platform (WhatsApp), which I didn't realize, and so we got bumped to a later checkin than hoped. And they'll charge you the tourist tax in addition to the VRBO price (bring cash).

This apartment is in a great location for seeing downtown Florence, especially by foot. The ride from the airport (from van drop-off) was quick. I'm including some pros/cons for our stay overall.Pros:- location good for sightseeing in Florence - very walkable to markets, bakeries, tourist attractions- seems safe/secure, even at night- spacious for a group of travelers- The rep for the "host" management company was friendly and the company itself is very responsive- good price for the location and sizeCons:- Top floor of the building is a small climb- Door locks are tricky until you get the hang of them (3 doors total to get into the apartment)- What looked like black mold along the tops of the walls, particularly in the kitchen- The second "bathroom" is essentially a shower stall with a toilet and sink in it (meaning no curtains or doors for the shower and the entire room gets wet)- 2 AC wall units stopped working at some point, but that's not directly tied to our experienceOverall, I'd consider staying again, especially if cleanliness is address, and if going into it understanding the second bathroom.
