This lovely one bedroom apartment can comfortably accommodate up to two persons.

The room was not clean. Soiled seat cushions, on the kitchen chairs, 2 arm chairs in front of the fireplace, soiled. Felt as though I didn’t want to sit on them. The area rugs, dirty, fireplace area cluttered, and dusty. Bed linens were questionable. Ants in bathroom , kitchen counters & table Pictures posted of the outdoor terrace are very deceiving . The small table only had 2 chairs. The awning only came out maybe 5 feet barely any shade. We were there in August, which was very hot.Rental needs to mention you have to go up 68 very very steep steps to the unit. Carrying up suitcases up& down difficult Communication with the host was not good. Messaged her through WhatsApp never answered me back. No written information about the unit . Host came to the door & quickly rambled off some instructions about the hot water heater etc . To only lock the screen door as the main door was hard to lock shut. Host offered to take us to the port for 50 euros . Private driver only charged 30 euros. Myself & husband couldn’t wait to checkout & go to the island of Korcula. The day we left she came out on her lower patio and asked if everything was ok . Only time she communicated after ck in. I do not recommend renting this unit at all. Only positive thing was the view . Did not take any photos to post .

The view of old town was amazing, which I would give a 10. But on all other points I give a 0. It was obvious the apartment wasn't cleaned before I arrived. I had to wipe off all surfaces in the kitchen and filthy dining table. Floors were dirty, especially in the bathrooms. The photos in the listing must be very old because the furniture was dirty and tattered along with a dirty and stained rug in front of the futon sofa. Bedroom was dusty The bath towels and dish towels smelled like cigarette smoke! The owner lives down stairs and must smoke on her terrace while they're line drying. Plus cigarette smoke wafts up into the apartment, especially at night. If you're driving there the address given is for the owners place and there's no place to park while you knock on her door. The parking is actually above and behind. There was no direct contact with her while I was driving from Montenegro because there is a 4th party company DirectBooker who wanted updates of arrival, but I received no response if anyone was getting my updates. Belvilla is the 3rd party 'Host' as listed on Vrbo. Then there was the extremely unprofessional behavior of the owner once I made contact at the front of her place. I won't go into details, but I've never had such a bizarre and frustrating check-in experience. I would never book this place and documented it all with photos. I've learned I'll only book places where I deal directly with the owner, no more 3rd and 4th parties.
