I had an absolute blast at the Villa Thalia in Petalidi, Peloponnese! The two bedrooms and one bathroom were comfortable and clean, and the private pool was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the stunning sea views.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Thalia. It was comfortable, had most of the facilities you needed, had a terrific view and a rather excellent large swimming pool. A car is needed to reach beaches and tavernas which are not a great distance away.However, some things need to be borne in mind when hiring the villa:-The road to it is steep and rough in places and one section could cause damage to the underside of your car. Great care is needed which you do get used to.There is only a bath with a hand held shower - the wall clip to hold the shower head does not work - no good if your like standing under a shower. I made my own! The whole bathroom could do with modernisation.There is an loud catering extraction unit which is on all day at the Sunrise resort below the villa - annoying at first but you do get used to it. Once off, it is nice and quiet. Not a lot can be done by the owner about this, I guess.The above problems did not spoil our enjoyment of the villa - but if they were improved the villa would be even better. It was a delight to sit with a drink in hand and look at the view acrooss the bay which offset any irritations.

Villa Thalia was a lovely peaceful escape. We really enjoyed the private pool, sea views, and quiet Petalidi setting. Everything felt comfortable and easy! Perfect for a relaxing Greek holiday.

En prima verblijf in een schoon huis met een groot zwembad

Het huis is schoon, is wat basic, maar is wel goed voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. Sommige spullen mogen vernieuwd worden, zo was de parasol onbruikbaar, de gordijnen enmeubels vertoonden gebruikssporen en de afvoer in de badkamer bleef onaangenaam ruiken. Het uitzicht is prachtig en het zwembad is oud maar wel groot en schoon.
