Raised ground floor flat. Beautiful high ceiling living room, alcove bedroom (1.50 cm height) glorious shower room, fully fitted kitchen with view of garden, plenty of storage space. Steps from all the sites from the film Notting Hill, short walk to Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park and Holland Park. Excellent transport (Ladbroke Grove, Notting Hill Gate tube stations) and many bus routes.

About the host: I’m a retired Contemporary Dancer and Choreographer. I’ve been a resident of Notting Hill for the last 30 years and I’ll be happy to help my guests with information about the area. I speak fluent Spanish and English and some basic Italian and Portuguese.

Okay - the whole review
Amazing stay in Notting Hill. Let’s start with the host. Our host met us on arrival, explained everything that we needed and responded within minutes of us contacting her when something was needed. Very responsive and helpful with the whole experience.The flat is quite lovely. Small flat with everything you need to live like a local - something we always try to do. We were able to cook when needed and appreciated the small niceties provided like tea, dish soap, filtered water pitcher, and spices.The sitting room had plenty of room for us to relax in. The bathroom was big enough for two people to move around in and the shower is large with both handle and rain shower (a plus!). The bedroom was pleasantly comfortable - although I would offer once caveat to anyone staying. The bed is very comfortable, the room is warm, and lighting is good. The caveat is this room is a loft bedroom - it is described in VRBO and we appreciated the whole experience with it. Think tiny house bedroom
 plenty of room on the bed for a couple. Does require you to climb up to get into it. For us? Fun experience! We thought it was quirky and enjoyed it the whole time.Why should you try to rent this place? LOCATION, location, location
 there is public transportation within meters of the front door - bus stop, the tube is a quarter mile away, and the best part? There is the Portabello market right down the street from your front door.Would stay here again!

Notting Hill is a very friendly and safe neighbourhood . It’s got a wonderful cosmopolitan vibe with several ethnicities sharing this beautiful streets. Is very central but at the same time it feels like a small village.

Casa Rosa is a very photographed house. One of the famous pink houses of Notting Hill. Photo shoots and videos have used Casa Rosa as a back drop. It’s located at 50mts from Portobello Market and the well known Blue Door from the film Notting Hill. Supermarkets open from 7 to 23hs. Restaurants and coffees at your doorstep. And of course Pubs and clubs with live music and impressive cocktails.
