Appartement design Notting Hill

Un appartement d'une chambre impeccable, exposé sud, situé au deuxième étage dans une rue calme et bordée d'arbres, près de Westbourne Grove. Cet appartement a été entièrement rénové très récemment par un architecte d'intérieur de renom. Outre la chambre double, deux petits matelas « futon », adaptés aux enfants plus âgés, peuvent être disposés à même le sol du salon. Les housses et autres éléments ne sont pas lavables ; cet appartement ne convient donc pas aux jeunes enfants aux mains collantes !<br><br>L'espace<br>Convient pour un maximum de 2 adultes (et 2 enfants plus âgés sur des futons installés temporairement au sol dans le salon la nuit). Ne convient pas non plus aux jeunes enfants aux doigts collants, car le mobilier n’est pas lavable en machine. Le salon est lumineux et aéré, avec des baies vitrées donnant sur une rue calme et verdoyante. Il comprend le Wi-Fi, une chaîne hi-fi, une Apple TV et une cuisine récemment installée et entièrement équipée. Vous y trouverez des bibliothèques remplies de livres intéressants, notamment des guides et des ouvrages sur Londres, un immense canapé, une grande table à manger en verre pouvant accueillir 6 personnes, ainsi qu’un éclairage tamisé réglable à l’aide de variateurs. La salle d’eau en marbre est équipée de toilettes. La chambre dispose d’un lit queen size, ainsi que de vastes placards intégrés avec penderies et étagères. Deux futons simples destinés aux enfants plus âgés peuvent être installés au sol dans le salon.<br><br>Accès des hôtes<br>Les hôtes disposeront d’un accès complet à l’ensemble de l’appartement. Vous y trouverez des produits alimentaires de base, notamment du thé et du café, un réfrigérateur-congélateur ainsi que de spacieux placards et étagères. Deux matelas simples de type « futon » sont prévus pour accueillir jusqu’à deux enfants plus âgés<br>L’appartement, situé au deuxième étage, n’est pas desservi par un ascenseur.<br><br>Autres informations à noter<br>Il est toujours possible d’organiser une arrivée ou un départ anticipé ou tardif, ce qui est idéal si vous arrivez en souffrant du décalage horaire ou si vous devez prendre un train tôt le matin ou tard le soir.

We couldn't have had a better long weekend in this flat. Great communication with the host. Awesome location on a quiet street but close to so many incredible markets, restaurants and transportation lines. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone.

We chose this location for a 5 day, Easter week, grandmother/grandson adventure in London and could not have been more comfortable. The flat contains everything you could need or want and all the amenities are of very high standard. Located in a quiet neighborhood, close to cafés, shops and restaurants, with easy access to bus and tube lines. Our host gets top points for pre- travel information and access during our stay. It was a wonderful place to unwind after a busy day visiting London. Highly recommend a stay!

The property was very clean, well stocked, and great location (close to lots of restaurants, cafés, and 5 minutes walk to underground). Charlie, the owner was very communicative was a huge plus.

I chose the flat because I know the area - recommended. Handy for walking & public transport, grocery shopping, dining out. Host responses were quick and helpful. Adequate for work (flat table, dining chairs but fibre-based internet - yay!). Comfortable bed.

Sunlit flat in Notting Hill

We very much enjoyed our stay at the flat. It was bright, spacious for two, and very well maintained. It was conveniently located near the Royal Oak tube, which connects easily to Heathrow, King's Cross, and all parts of London.

Great place in a lovely neighborhood

Charlie was an excellent and responsive host and his flat was well situated on a quiet street close to restaurants and several tube stations. Loved having coffee available so we didn’t need to buy any. Bed was comfortable and the flat had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Fantastic London Flat

We had the best stay in Charlie and Amanda’s flat this weekend. Accommodated our family of four (kids 10 and 12) very nicely, the apartment is lovely. Clean, well appointed, and in such a nice location. Our hosts were super responsive and accommodating with early check in post our flight from the US and allowing us to leave our bags until departure. We loved it! Highly recommend!

Wonderful neighborhood and comfortable flat

We were very happy with the flat in the Notting Hill area of London. We had easy walking to transportation, restaurants and shopping. We felt so comfortable in this quiet neighborhood in a beautiful flat. And, we had excellent communication whenever there were questions. We will definitely return.

Charming flat and neighbourhood

We loved this flat and the neighbourhood. Teenage boys were happy to stretch out on the futons overnight. The flat was fully equipped. The host was lovely and even checked in to see how we were doing. Highly recommended. Would love to stay here again in the future.

Great flat, great owner, great location

My teenage daughter and I stayed at this flat during our 12-day trip to London. The owners were so responsive and helpful. The flat was super clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we could need. And the location was stellar -- a beautiful, quiet, clean street. Walking distance to a really convenient tub station, grocer, and tons of amazing cafes and restaurants. Even walkable to the Portobello shopping area. We hope to come back to London some day and we will definitely book this flat again! Thanks so much for such a great stay!!!

Delightful Apartment

Notting hill is a quiet retreat after a busy day in the City. Wonderful cafe and restaurant a 5 minute walk from apartment. Also the metro and grocery store are walkable. Our host was great, checked in with us during our stay. There is not a lift so be prepared to walk up to the 4th floor. 40 steps.

Fantastic Flat!

My husband and I just returned from a weeks stay in London. Charlie and Amanda’s flat was perfect! It is located on a beautiful quiet street, yet a short walk to several tube stations, restaurants and shops. The flat is modern with a cozy feel and is tastefully decorated and had everything we needed,even a US adapter! Charlie’s provided clear instructions regarding the flat and even checked in with us mid week to see if we needed anything. We will definitely stay here during our next visit to London!!

Perfect pied à terre

Very nice top floor apartment on a quiet street but very connected to the rest of the city, shops and restaurants. The main living space is were very well designed with a well pointed kitchen adjoining the seating area. There and in the bedroom the paneled walls hide away the storage to keep the space clean and streamlined. Hosts were very communicative and had detailed instructions and great recommendations. Would highly recommend. We were a family of three and enjoyed our little over a week stay immensely. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to London.

First, but hopefully, not the last time here.

My wife and I are frequent visitors to London. It may be our favorite metropolitan city. We typically stay in Westminster, closer to the high trafficked areas. When our daughter was enrolled in the LSE we stayed in Islington, and liked the community feel. We wanted to try the Noting Hill area and are so glad we found this flat. It was perfect. Clean, comfortable, and well located. Hosts were super helpful and we could not be more pleased. Thank you for opening this property to visitors.

A retreat for book lovers

My husband and I loved our stay in this charming apartment in Notting Hill. Everything was as per the pictures and the description, with a comfortable bed, bathroom and we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Bonus: if you love books, they have an amazing variety for your reading pleasure and I did curled up with a tea every morning reading one of them. The owners were very quick to answer questions and have a series of information that have been helpful to us during our stay e.g. name of nearby subway stations, attractions, grocery stores, etc. We would come back again and we bet that Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant would be in agreement!

Cozy and compact flat

Small but efficient, this flat served my wife and I well for a delightful two week stay. The neighborhood is just wonderful - shopping and resources of all sorts within a ten minute walk and numerous brilliant pubs even closer. The flat had everything we needed and was well stocked with supplies. The hosts are genial and accommodating. A few things are slightly awkward - like the microwave in a utility closet and the TV. The latter is not well positioned for viewing and operates on Apple TV, quite inscrutable. And there are two flights of stairs to climb. Minor points which did not detract from our very pleasurable visit.

Cozy top floor flat on a quiet terrace has everything you need for a stay in London

The owner provided an amazing amount of useful and detailed information ahead of the stay about how to get into the flat and various things to do. We appreciated the short walk to the Royal Oak Tube stop but there are several other Tube stop options. The street is picturesque and quiet. This flat has large windows and a compact kitchen that makes it feel larger than it is. The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, stove, Nespresso, and even a dishwasher. The owner provides all of the manuals for the equipment which we found very handy in navigating some unfamiliar appliances. The bedroom is quiet and has some heating pads that kept us very cozy despite the cold temperatures. Our last night we enjoyed a magical snowstorm that left the trees and streets covered with big fluffy piles of snow. One caution is that if you have large heavy suitcases it might be a challenge to get them up three flights of stairs. We would stay here again. Thanks so much Charlie.
