Outside of that we had a really bad experience. We arrived during the heat wave and only one of the fans was working. We weren’t able to get a hold of anyone until the second day and even then there was not a remedy. We ended up needing to find a different accomodation to cope with the heat since the open windows and single fan were not doing it in this apartment. So we ended up only staying 1 out of the 4 nights that we had booked. It made it our trip very stressful and felt unsupported by Belvilla and the hosts. Also the smart TV did not connect to the internet.

The apartment was well situated. There were restaurants and stores close by as well as several metro lines. The hosts were communicative and sent a plumber when there was a leak in the sink. It only took an hour to repair and it was during some down time so we were glad it got fixed. The apartment doesn't have much charm but it does have great potential. We had everything we needed and there were fans as well as space heaters. The twin beds were a bit uncomfortable and creaky but we got used to it. Great shower. We did think there should be a link to the TV manual and the oven. We were able to use the oven but the TV never came on despite new batteries for both remotes.

Unit is pretty dilapidated getting into. Door handle hanging off and stairwell is decrepit. The unit itself was in ok condition. We had some drain flies going on in bathroom and it was very hot. All of the air conditioning units were locked and inaccessible. We found some fans and made due but one of the fans did not work . The Wi fi was not available to choose as we were told. Numerous texts to host. Response was not timely until next day. We tried new ID and it still did not work. I stopped worrying about it and used data. I guess the air conditioning was not listed so I guess that wasn’t promised to begin with. The location was good. So many restaurants and shops and it was close enough to walk to Notre Dame and the Siene. Paris is big and spread out, you will need to Uber or train to Eiffel Tower. We did walk to Louvre. ( 1-1.5 miles) we loved Paris and the apartment was a little less than great but it was fine.
