Mezzaluna - Cottage au bord de la mer

Venez profiter de notre magnifique chalet entièrement autonome, situé entre Sargeant et Halfmoon Bay. Terrasse privée avec vue imprenable sur l'océan, face à l'île de Vancouver et au détroit de Georgia. Regardez les aigles s'envoler ou apercevez les navires de croisière qui passent en route vers l'Alaska tout en sirotant votre boisson préférée. Le paysage change constamment avec un trafic maritime varié et des animaux sauvages dans la cour arrière. Rien à faire, mais asseyez-vous et détendez-vous et oubliez le temps et le lieu, ou descendez sur la plage locale pour une petite exploration marine. Et découvrez les nombreux sites et activités de la région.
La vie a tendance à ralentir sur la Sunshine Coast et que vous veniez pour deux jours ou deux semaines, vous vous sentirez renouvelé et reviendrez à coup sûr.

Le chalet, joliment décoré avec une touche mexicaine, offre une chambre / une salle de bain avec lit queen et lits simples, ainsi qu'un canapé convertible dans le salon. Cuisine entièrement équipée, laveuse / sécheuse et un poêle à bois confortable pour profiter pendant ces nuits d'hiver plus fraîches. Parfait pour les couples ou une petite famille.

Grande pelouse pour jouer au badminton ou à une partie de boccia.
Accès à la plage à proximité.

We enjoyed a fun-filled and relaxing holiday at Mezza Luna. The cottage was clean and well equipped providing an excellent base for exploring the Sunshine Coast. The view from the deck was wonderful.

Fantastic Ocean Views and Hospitality

This is a wonderful find on the sunshine coast. Exceptionally beautiful views of the ocean and located in peaceful and quiet neighbourhood away from the highway, but with quick access to amenities. The owner has created a peaceful ambience perfect for relaxing . Nicely decorated, very clean and the host was very welcoming and hospitable. Loved that my pooch was very welcome too !

Our Hostess Beate was very nice. Everything was wonderful. We did see deer and a bear in the yard. Whales too! It was a nice vacation. Would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks Beate.

Cozy cottage with stunning view!

I stayed here for a girls’ Family Day long weekend with my young adult daughters. This was my second stay at this place, and I’m sure it won’t be my last! The cottage is cozy, well equipped, and feels quite spacious. We love the decor, the stunning view, and enjoyed watching deer feeding on the lawn. It was also very nice and quiet. Love it!

Great stay

Everything I’d ever need, great kitchen, linens, but the real thrill was the deck and its view. Whales for hours. The living room was comfy for me but the 3-seat sofa shown in pictures isn’t there anymore so two people would end up using the love seat. The squirrels kept my dog entertained.

Perfect getaway

Delightful and thoughtfully created cottage. This is the perfect place to go when you need to get away from the city. It’s pleasantly decorated and well outfitted, very quiet, has amazing vistas. There are the most wonderful hikes/ walks to take nearby. The only thing I would suggest that could be improved is the main bed. Aside from that, I would highly recommend this lovely place and I’d return in a heartbeat.

This rental was all that it was written up to be. No surprises. Great host, and the cottage has all the things you need for a comfortable stay. Awesome view from the deck, whales every day. Very quiet- didn't really want to go anywhere though we did, since there are many things to do in the area.

Highly recommended stay

We have really enjoyed our 3-day stay here: perfect tranquility. The cottage is spacious, solid, well-appointed, and pristine. From its lovely southwest facing deck high above the ocean we enjoyed spotting various boats and ocean wildlife, including orcas, well as watching and listening to many kinds of birds. Bring your binoculars and long lenses. The property has no buildings between you and the sea, just a steep forested slope down to the rocky beach. Beate is a perfect host, friendly and available but completely unobtrusive. A good central location from which to explore the southern Sunshine Coast. We hope to return before long!

Stunning view!

Beatte was there to greet us and the cottage had everything we needed to cook and enjoy the coast experience. The views are even closer than they look in the photos, and the cottage is larger. We had visits from deer, an owl, many many birds, and a black bear who liked to snack on the neighbours apple trees. The location down a quiet road away from the highway was perfect, and we could easily drive either north or south for loads of activities. The only con was uncomfortable furniture. We would definitely stay again!

Relax and recharge

There is nothing as good as sitting on a deck where you can watch a pod of orcas go by and have deer wandering through your yard! Great location to use as a base to visit the Sunshine Coast.
