It was charming, close to the castle and local eateries. The hosts had a great book with detailed descriptions and explanations about the home. I would highly recommend to those who want to visit Caerphilly.

A very lovely place to stay. The house was cozy and tastefully decorated, with everything necessary available. The location was perfect—next to the castle and close to shops. The hosts were very responsive and communication was great. I recommend this place to others as well.

Lovely 3 bedroomed terrace

Very cosy terraced house. Plenty of room for 2 families though only 1 toilet in the downstairs bathroom. Kitchen well stocked and lounge furniture very comfortable. Parking for 1 car only in a small garage but plenty of free parking nearby. Garden furniture. Easy 10 minute walk into town.

1 night stay to visit an event in Cardiff

Lovely little house in Caerphilly. Had everything we needed inside.We loved the record player! Liam and Hannah are fantatsics hosts , clear communucation throughout the booking , and extremely kind to source us some milk before arriving. We also loved the extra little touches such as the welsh biscuits.We came for an event in Cardiff, easily able to get taxis there and back. We had an amazing time.Thank you

Caerphilly in the Sun April 2025

The property was lovely and spacious. There was a bit of water damage on staircase but didnt affect us. Parking was a touch of russian roulette,although there is a garage which i didnt use ar rear of property. The host,liam tells me he will create parking spaces by the end of month. He couldnt have been more helpful. Bedrooms upstairs,toilet downstairs to rear of oroperty overall a great week

We recently stayed here and overall had a pleasant visit,with a few areas that could benefit from some attention.On the positive side,the property is in a great location,especially being so close to Caerphilly Castle.The WiFi was reliable throughout our stay,and the heating worked very well,which made it nice and cosy.The space itself is cute and you can see there has been effort put into making it feel welcoming and comfortable.There are just a few maintenance and housekeeping points worth noting.The backyard was a little untidy on arrival,with trash bags by the doorstep. Inside,there was a dusty smell, some cobwebs, and a bit of mould in places.The kitchen could also be a bit better equipped—we found a few basic utensils missing and ended up purchasing teaspoons and a spatula.The coffee machine wasn’t working during our stay, and the air fryer wasn’t positioned near a plug, which made it slightly inconvenient to use.There were also only a small number of dishwashing pods provided for the length of our stay.A couple of minor maintenance issues as well: the back door didn’t lock properly from the outside, the slats on the bed base in the second room were loose, and some skirting boards were damaged. The bathroom was based downstairs and lovely,although the shower glass felt slightly loose. Overall, this is a charming place with great potential and some lovely features—it would just benefit from a bit of extra care and attention to detail.

We had a lovely stay in this house near Caerphilly Castle. Train station only a 10 minute walk. Communication with owner was excellent! When we had some questions he answered really quick and accurate. For a really tall Dutch family the shower was rather small, but we managed.Some parts of the house need attention, but the interior decorating was nice. The chairs in the garden are really comfortable. We would love to come back for another visit to Cardiff.
