Escapade en forĂȘt Ă  Fawnskin, le cĂŽtĂ© calme de Big Bear

PrÚs du lac, cette jolie cabane est située sur le cÎté nord calme du lac à Fawnskin, loin de l'activité trépidante, mais à quelques minutes en voiture des pistes de ski et d'autres activités d'hiver. En été, le cÎté nord est le meilleur endroit pour accéder aux pistes cyclables, aux sentiers de randonnée et aux lancements de bateaux et de kayaks.

Deux chambres plus une mezzanine avec un canapé-lit. WIFI gratuit et télévision par cùble Spectrum. La cabine comprend un immense pont avant et de nombreuses places de parking hors route. Une cour arriÚre entiÚrement clÎturée et de nouveaux appareils.

Idéal pour les familles, avec jeux, cour clÎturée, chaise haute, Play n Pack et barriÚres de sécurité pour bébé pour les escaliers. La cabane est trÚs proche du lac et a un accÚs facile aux sentiers de randonnée locaux et aux lancements de bateaux.

Évadez-vous de la ville et vivez l'expĂ©rience d'ĂȘtre entourĂ© de grands pins et de nuits claires et Ă©toilĂ©es. Nous sommes situĂ©s dans la forĂȘt nationale de San Bernardino, avec des bestioles forestiĂšres, donc les dĂ©chets doivent ĂȘtre sĂ©curisĂ©s.

Nous sommes situĂ©s dans un quartier calme et familial. Si vous cherchez une maison de fĂȘte, ce n'est pas pour vous. Les plaintes concernant le bruit peuvent entraĂźner la demande de dĂ©part de votre groupe.

Cozy cabin on a beautiful and quiet street

We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It had everything to make us feel at home. There is plenty of room to accommodate a family. Very cozy and so beautiful outside.

Great Place in a Great Location!

The cabin was beautiful and very clean, and we had a great time renting it! The check in process was super easy, the drive to the city wasn’t long, and the cabin gave us so many memories! Would 100% do it again.

Cute Cabin

This cabin is nestled in a beautiful location away from all the busyness of the town. We had a very relaxing few days in this adorable cabin. The property owner communicates very efficiently. The check in and check out process was very easy.

Clean, cozy & quaint

The Sheldon’s Fawnskin cabin is a terrific little get away cabin. I was very happy with how clean the place was. The beds were very comfortable too. The neighbor is very quiet and peaceful. The view from their deck is exquisite. I stayed with my boyfriend the 1st night, then the following day our two good friends joined us. The cabin gets chilly at night but there is a fireplace and a great heater. There are tons of board games too. I would highly recommend this cabin.

A wonderful cozy home!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, FL very cosy from the second we walked in. Using the fireplace was our highlight. The only feedback I will have is that the paintings in the house were a little creepy, and the bathroom downstairs had no heating and was very cold. Also took a little while to figure out how to turn on the lights as a lot of the lights were unplugged.

Thanksgiving family trip

Loved this property and the communication from the owners. Couldn’t have been easier, all around. Thank you Sharon for helping my family have a very enjoyable Thanksgiving trip in Fawnskin! Also we loved that this cabin was in Fawnskin, away from the city.

Great getaway!

We stayed here as a short weekend getaway in February. Easy check-in process and it was ready earlier than originally stated. The house was cozy but a little chilly at first. The house thermostat takes a few hours to warm the house and the bedrooms also have decent wall space heaters. The beds are comfy but the pillows are a little flatter than what we are used to using. We also stayed during COVID which led to reduced pillows and blankets in the house based on safety concerns. The living room was perfect for relaxing, watching TV, while enjoying a nice wood fire. The porch is awesome and perfect to let our 2-year-old run around on. The house overall is clean but it does have heavily used kitchen supplies like cookware and utensils. We would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely Visit

Cozy cabin on quiet side of the lake. The deck is big but could have been swept. It was comfortable overall but the heater in the bedroom didn’t work so bring a spare just in case. We ended up buying one.

Lovely retreat!

We had a wonderful stay! We came to hike and were pleased to be away from the hustle and bustle of Big Bear- although it was nice to have it within driving distance if we needed groceries (Vons is not too far away) or good pastries (Copper Q). The cottage is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood and close to many hiking trails (most of the Big Bear 5). Check in was a breeze and communication with Sharon was great- she let us know that the place was ready early in case we wanted to check in earlier. The house is very homey and comfortable. Instructions for garbage and wifi, etc. are very clear. Wifi worked really well. There are two big screen tvs- but we didn't use either, so can't say much about them. The kitchen was well equipped- although we didn't do much cooking. There are lots of books and a history of the area. The deck is fantastic- we ate outside. There were lots of thick towels, the beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. We had a great stay and highly recommend it, if you want to hike and be in a quiet area close to the lake. Next time we need to breath mountain air we will be back!

Clean and perfect cabin!

We truly enjoyed our stay in big bear. The cabin was clean, has all you need for cooking and all the bath necessities. Well maintained and owner was quick to respond to questions and flexible with my need to leave a little late due to unforeseen snow. I would say the only thing I would have to change would be that there was no mention that the cabin didn’t have a dishwasher. Other than this it was perfect. Plenty of beds , bedding and games to play as well! Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the are. Only 14 min or so to the Skii slopes too!

Best place in Big Bear for relaxing

Very clean! Has great view. Love the deck! Lots of amenities. All kitchen ware included, very convenient. Neighbors are very friendly. Close to town and restaurants. You can't beat the price!! My husband and I will definitely be back. :)

I adore the mountains and access to hiking trails. Most of the year I hang out on the beach in Mexico (see oceanfront rental, Baja Beach Getaway). But, Big Bear is unique in character, an environment that must be experienced to appreciate.

This cabin is located in Fawnskin, on the north side of Big Bear Lake. It is a quiet family neighborhood, which is what I was looking for in a forest getaway.
