Maison historique de Sellwood, 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain, situé au centre

Bienvenue dans notre belle maison située dans le quartier historique de Sellwood. Notre propriété est entourée de restaurants, de boutiques, de magasins d'antiquités et de grands parcs. Vous pouvez traverser la rue jusqu'à un restaurant et obtenir un hamburger élu meilleur burger n ° 4 du pays, ou vous promener au coin d'un restaurant présenté dans le magazine Food and Wine, ou descendre le bloc jusqu'à l'un des bars les plus cool de Portland.

Nous sommes situés au centre de Portland, à environ un mile du Reed college, à 3,5 miles du centre-ville, à 2 miles de Division et à 2,5 miles de Hawthorne. L'aéroport est à environ 25 minutes en voiture, ou vous pouvez prendre le train Max situé juste en bas de la route. Le service de bus est à un pùté de maisons.

La maison est de 3 Ă©tages, trois chambres privĂ©es et deux salles de bain, une au rez-de-chaussĂ©e et une Ă  l'Ă©tage. Il y a une porte sĂ©parant les chambres et la salle de bain du reste de la maison. Il y a un futon dans le sous-sol fini qui peut accueillir deux personnes. À votre disposition, un salon, une salle Ă  manger, une cuisine, une buanderie et une salle de tĂ©lĂ©vision dans le sous-sol fini. Notre arriĂšre-cour est une oasis privĂ©e au milieu de la ville. Nous avons des siĂšges Ă  l'extĂ©rieur et un hamac pour profiter pendant les mois d'Ă©tĂ©.

Lovely, perfectly clean and the spaces are as pictured. Beautiful baths and high quality sheets and towels. We enjoyed the neighborhood shopping and dining, including coffee right next door. What a lovely property! This bungalow has been meticulously maintained. I also own an old home, and I know how challenging this can be. The home is cozy and inviting with the bonus of a great basement and a well appointed bedroom/living space on second floor. What a wonderful surprise to discover a beautiful front yard garden and a lovely deck at the back of the house. I spent much of my time on both. The location is ideal with many restaurants just steps from the house. I’ve already booked a return visit next month!

Great stay in Portland

The house is in a great part of town, super walkable to so much and a short drive to other great neighborhoods that Portland has to offer. The house itself was also nice and comfortable. The hosts were so easy to communicate with and really helpful. Highly recommend!

Well-appointed Home

Lovely property close to all the delightful neighborhood has to offer! Beds and bedding were heavenly along with the thick towels. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything from soup to nuts (almost literally!) Delightful front yard with an amazing back porch for gathering even if it is rainy! We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Siblings get together

This was an enjoyable stay. The property was comfortable, clean, well appointed both quality and cleanliness of appliances, cookware, bed linens and towels. The neighborhood was walkable with restaurants and coffee shops. Sellwood neighborhood shops were a 15 minute walk. We were a group of siblings visiting our sister who lived close by. Despite the rain we were able to visit and enjoy the neighborhood shops.

Sellwood Paradise

Worth every bit of 5 stars. 1) I try not to stay in vacation rentals managed by 3rd parties like iTrip, Vacasa, Evolve etc.. Because they are unresponsive in comparison to those managed direct by owners. 2) It's in Sellwood. Need I say anything more. 3) The house is wonderful. Woodwork, decorations etc. high end. Plenty of room. Beds comfortable. Best kitchen I've had in terms of cookware and supplies. Note, there is a 2nd smart TV in the upstairs master bedroom in the sitting area. I will say there are 2 sets of stairs in house and both have narrow treads. However, I've been in many Portland homes that have basements and 2 floors and they are all built the same way. 4) It is adjacent to a Fetch coffee shop/ bakery, a Starbucks and PDX sliders within the same block. Very convenient yet still a very quiet private street. And all the places you want go in Portland are an easy 15 minutes away. 5) Stewart and Josie are as big part of why I would go back. They live in a ADU on the property but you would not know they were there unless you need them. Everything worked in the house so I did not need them but got advice on hiking trails etc.. Excellent hosts. If you are going to Portland stay here.

Fantastic stay! Extremely clean home, luxury bedding, fully stocked kitchen, and childrens toys. Location can't be beat. We were extremely happy with the kitchen appliances/dishes etc everything we needed was there and high quality unlike other short term rentals. We would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property. The home and kitchen had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the back porch. The onsite parking was good, and the neighborhood had many things within walking distance (grocery store, coffee, dining options). We hope to stay here again,

I am a nurse practitioner and Stuart is a biostatistician. I grew up on the East coast and have lived in Portland for the past 14 years. Stuart grew up in England, spent time in South Africa and moved to Portland 22 years ago. We have 2 grown children that are currently living outside the home.

We prefer to stay in homes when we travel and enjoy interacting with owners in order to get the inside scoop!

We bought this house when we combined families. We both lived in the area and fell in love with it immediately. Our home is lovely, we are quite proud of it. Our guests thus far have been very pleased with the accommodation.

Most people enjoy the privacy of the bedrooms and the lovely backyard. We are in a prime location, you could spend an entire weekend in Sellwood and be pretty content.
