Fantastic stay in Breck

Really enjoyed our visit at this property. The location is very close to a trailhead that we hiked up to a couple times and is connected to an extensive trail network.

Great location, very close to all attractions. Access to bedroom/sleeping area is a bit of a challenge, especially if you're not 100% physically healthy. My daughter and I had minor hand injuries from skiing which made it a little hard getting up the ladder. My dog loved the outdoor space of the property

Great getaway spot

This cabin is remote enough to feel like you're off the grid but in reality is a 5 minute drive to downtown Breck. The kitchen is fully stocked and there's plenty to do inside and outside of the cabin. The only downfall was the soft and lumpy bed.

Courtney, We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Sorry you were disappointed with the bed. This is our personal cabin, the mattress is less than a year old. We use it quite often and don't have any issues with the bed. Sleeping preferences however are different for everyone. Thank you for staying - Lloyd and Shannon

Property managers were responsive…. unfortunately to a lot of problems. None massive, but overall not worth the premium paid at all.1. The properties managers emailed us and had us sign a contract with costs and terms that varied with what we agreed to on VRBO checkout2. A bag of trash ripped open and scattered about the back yard on arrival3. Kitchen faucet not secured to the counter4. Bathroom cold faucet not secured, so wouldn’t work after 1-2 actions without tightening it again5. Brown stains on bed blanket that our dog was very curious about…. which is never a good sign6. Missing screens in windows (no A/C, so kind of a fundamental)7. I think 1 of 4 porch walk-lights worked8. Not very comfortable bed, definitely bring your own pillowI mean, we’ve traveled all over. No one thing here was unreasonable and property owners were responsive, but ultimately the impression is of a vacation-town rental that gets heavily used and is showing its age on DIY’er level renovations/mechanics run by a bit of a sloppy management company. We didn’t have lots of other options due to our situation; just be aware and set expectations that you’re not getting 300/night value if you have to book.

Hi Christopher, Thank you for the detailed feedback. While we're glad our team was responsive, we sincerely apologize for the issues you ran into. Arriving to loose fixtures, missing screens, scattered trash, and stained bedding is unacceptable—especially at a premium rate. We've dispatched our maintenance crew to repair the plumbing, outdoor lights, and screens, and we're reviewing our cleaning protocols to ensure this doesn't happen again. We appreciate your honesty as it helps us raise our standards, and we wish you smooth travels ahead.

We had an absolute blast! However due to the weather we did have to cut the trip short but the team was awesome to work with in making sure everything was squared away prior to our early departure. We have already talked about going back in the summer to enjoy the property differently than we did this time!

It was exactly what we wanted for our elopement! Close to town but felt far away. Creek right in the backyard with bench was perfect for morning coffee. Bed was comfy. Heater on front patio and the fire pit were great! We loved it and will be back! Thank you for letting us stay!

Cozy, thoughtful and clean cabin!!

Loved our stay at the cabin! Space heaters and stove provide plenty of heat. Stairs are tricky but there’s a good handrail. Used the laundry multiple times and really appreciated all of the dishes and utensils available in the kitchen. Loved it and was a great value. Things were neat and tidy and thoughtfully folded and bonus: the microwave doesn’t beep repeatedly when it’s done! Awesome place.

Great tiny house getaway in Breck!

The kids loved the layout of the house with the loft bed area. The living room was cozy, especially with the wood burning stove. I am familiar with those but if you’re not it might be nice to have some brief instructions available. It was a little cold in the loft but it was 0 degrees when we were there which is unusual. All the amenities of home in a quaint setting! There are some games there if you want to keep your kids off of their screens 😜

Great location for skiing and hiking.

Very cute, nice, modern, comfortable and clean. Great location. Beautiful mountain views. Easy check-in and out. Well stocked kitchen. We did both agree that the steps to the loft are awkward and didn’t feel like we could walk up the steps while carrying something at the same time. We did a lot of hiking on the cross county trails up the mountain from the house.

Good location for exploring. Tiny place. Could do without doing chores on arrival

This property was able to accommodate my friends easily and the nature outside the property was great. But, on arrival, sheets were still in the washer (still wet) and dryer and dishwasher was still full on dirty dishes and wash cycle was not even started so they all stank. Needless to say, it wasn’t the best feeling to do chores when first arriving to a vacation home. Besides that, it was easy getting to and from the house while we explored the nearby areas.

Cozy and immaculate

My daughter and I wanted a spring getaway from Denver and this cabin was perfect. All the amenities in such a cozy space! We had April snow when we were there so spent some of our time time watching Netflix and reading by the wood stove. The loft and beds were SO comfortable, the shower was hot, the kitchen had everything we needed. The stairs up to the loft were steep but fine for us. Breckenridge was really close and we enjoyed eating, shopping, seeing the troll, doing some winter hiking, while also having tons of privacy and quiet. We wish we could have used the patio and explored the brook out back. Maybe another time!

Best Cabin we have ever stayed at!!

This cabin was one of the highlights of our stay in Colorado. We arrived on during an early heavy snowfall on a Sunday in October. Pulling up to the cabin we just fell in love with it. The views around are incredible. Its very close to town right down the road from the distillery and broken compass brewery which were awesome, even though its so close you feel really secluded. Inside that cabin they had everything covered from wood for the stove (which we used every night before bed and every morning with our coffee), household items, cleaning supplies, Netflix, and even seasonings if you decide to cook anything. The decor has a really cool and homey feel to it. The loft as everyone says takes getting used to but I thought was a cool feature. The loft has a good comfy bed upstairs along with a separated area with a couple of small beds. The only concern I would have is if there was small children and the loft stair, other than that no issues at all. I have bragged and bragged about this cabin and it has even made us consider buying a similar cabin in Colorado to rent out and to stay in, if we cant find one, we will hope this place is available for our next trip to Breck!!
