Charming Garden Flat Dans le centre de Londres

Un magnifique jardin spacieux offrant une cuisine nouvellement conçue et une deuxième salle à manger et salon sous une extension en verre face à un jardin isolé et mature. Situé au centre de la zone 2, près de deux stations de métro, l'hôte vous fournit des cartes d'huîtres et des cartes pour les visites touristiques. Il y a de nombreux restaurants locaux, des magasins et des pubs, deux parcs avec des cafés, un centre d'escalade, des réservoirs de navigation de kayak et la réserve naturelle de Woodberry Down.

L'espace

Je loue une chambre double dans mon grand et joli jardin dans un magnifique bâtiment géorgien avec une grande extension en verre qui accueille une deuxième salle à manger et un coin salon. L'endroit idéal pour passer un moment de détente tout en visitant Londres. La chambre est confortable et a été récemment rénovée avec un grand espace de rangement. Il y a une salle de bain avec baignoire, douche, lavabo et toilettes qui sont toujours propres. Je fournis un sèche-cheveux, une literie et des serviettes. Shampoing et gel douche seront également fournis. Il y a un nouveau canapé-lit dans le salon avant pouvant accueillir jusqu'à deux personnes supplémentaires, moyennant des frais supplémentaires de 38 £ par personne et par nuit.

L'appartement est à une courte distance de marche du centre de voyage des trains de métro Victoria et Piccadilly Line de FINSBURY PARK (Zone 2) et de British Rail. Il est également à seulement un court trajet en train depuis tous les terminaux HEATHROW - Piccadilly Line vers Finsbury Park (1. 5 heures) Porte à porte! Il ne faut qu'une heure pour arriver à l'aéroport de Gatwick et à l'aéroport de Stanstead à partir de cet endroit.

Les deux salons disposent d'une télévision intelligente HD. Zone de studio avec WiFi. Une cuisine entièrement équipée et des éléments essentiels de nourriture seront fournis à l'arrivée, les clients peuvent cuisiner et utiliser des installations de cuisine, mais doivent le garder propre.

Tout en restant dans mon appartement, je peux vous donner des informations sur les aspects des principales attractions touristiques, musées et galeries de Londres.

A holiday to remember

Great location with easy access to two tube stations and a nice park across the road. Property is within reasonable walking distance to restaurants and stores. Hidden treasure is the backyard which offers quiet, private space.

Charming flat

Everything you could want or need. Great location close to tube stations. 30 minutes from most major attractions. Convenient tube ride directly to Heathrow airport. Extemely helpful host.

Owner didn't leave, so I did

This was a very stressful experience. I booked 3 nights with Home Away to have some time to myself. The owner didn't leave. She asked me if it was OK if she stayed and that she'd go to a friend's house the next day. I said OK but she didn't leave the 2nd day, either. I decided to leave one day early, but then found out it was past the 12 hours deadline to file a complaint or get a refund. I just wanted a place to myself, so I got a hotel room. If this ever happens again with any other property, I'll leave right away and get a refund.

I completely made Heather very welcome when she arrived and showed her the apartment and all the facilities that she could use. I even allowed her to invite her friends over the first evening. I asked her if she didn't mind if I stayed in the back of the apartment as I had some work to do and she seemed fine about this as she was out the whole day and came back late in the evening. That was when she asked me if she could work in the conservatory the next morning which was no problem, I told her that I would be staying away the next day and that the internet was not so strong in that area. I obviously have totally misunderstood Heather she was on her own and seemed to want companionship as she wanted to talk to me all the time about her life etc. So, I was totally taken aback when she left giving me the keys and a lecture on the way out! I wished she had been honest with me and told me how she felt as I was really upset that she felt uncomfortable and I apologised to her profoundly. I have received many guests over the years and pride myself of making them comfortable and relaxed in my home. They enjoy the information I give them on London and the local area and I am a relaxed person, but I totally misread this person and apologised for getting it wrong.

We enjoyed our stay here

Artistically decorated ground floor flat in quiet residential area, only 5-10 min walk from 2 Undergound stations (Viktoria & Piccadilly lines). Open layout front room and updated eat-in kitchen with hallway to small bathroom & bedroom. Another hallway brings you t a small solarium opening into the back garden. Owner & property manager readily accessible & responsive. Availed ourselves of some of the recommended cafes/pubs/restaurants and enjoyed them all. Cheers!

Gorgeous house in the heart of everything!

I LOVED staying here. Easy access to two tube lines so it was half an hour to just about anywhere in the city, and an hour to the airport. The owner is an artist so her house is beautifully appointed with a lot of personality, and she was communicative and friendly throughout. In the summer the garden is gorgeous, with fresh apples and raspberries to enjoy. This is exactly what VRBO is all about in my opinion -- discovering hidden gems and meeting great people. I wish I had more than five stars to give!

SISTEMAZIONE MOLTO DELUDENTE

La casa, entrando, si presenta bene, con il bel soggiorno e la bella cucina, molto attrezzata, che si vede nelle foto. Ma, già dal check-in, abbiamo avuto una cattiva impressione. Dopo averci mostrato la casa, la proprietaria si è riaccomodata in giardino con una sua ospite con l'intenzione di trattenersi a conversare ancora un po'. Quando le ho fatto notare che eravamo stanchi del viaggio e avremmo voluto rilassarci con un po' di privacy, se ne è andata, lasciandoci tazze e bicchieri sporchi in cucina. Sinceramente, questo atteggiamento mi è sembrato molto poco professionale! Ma questo sarebbe stato un piccolo neo.....se tutto il resto fosse stato piacevole. Nonostante avessi letto nelle recensioni che la camera da letto fosse piccola, non mi aspettavo un buco così! Non solo da un lato del letto mancava di comodino, ma il letto era addirittura addossato al muro, anzi a una finestra, per cui era impossibile entrare nel letto se non salendo dal fondo. Inoltre il letto era, in realtà, una tavola di legno poggiata su...contenitori di plastica per il riciclo!!! Quando, dopo la prima notte, ho provato ad areare la stanza, è stato impossibile aprire la finestra, in quanto era bloccata e la sporcizia e le ragnatele sul bordo testimoniavano da quanto tempo non fosse stata aperta. Poiché in casa abbiamo trovato più di un ragno, si può immaginare come abbia dormito serena, con la testa a pochi centimetri da quel vetro! Inoltre, non abbiamo affatto gradito dover mettere i nostri vestiti nel poco spazio lasciatoci nell'armadio in cui c'erano anche i vestiti della proprietaria. In realtà, in casa, c'è un'altra stanza matrimoniale - usata dalla proprietaria - che sarebbe stata molto più piacevole, essendo spaziosa, con spazio contenitivo e due finestre. Per qualche motivo, la proprietaria ha lasciato la stanza con la porta aperta: abbiamo dovuto subito chiuderla per il cattivo odore che ne usciva. Del resto, niente di strano in quanto dentro c'era un disordine indescrivibile.... Peccato che la proprietaria sia così poco attenta al comfort dei suoi ospiti, perché la posizione è comoda sia per il parcheggio davanti a casa con il pass da lei fornitoci, sia per la breve distanza dalle due stazione della metropolitana. Poco comoda, invece, per la spesa, in quanto vicino non vi sono grossi supermercati, ma solo piccoli supermercati locali, che, comunque, bisogna raggiungere in auto. In conclusione, devo dire che, purtroppo, ...non vedevamo l'ora di andare via!!!

Well I am really sorry that you did not have a good stay. The window in the bedroom opens and had been regularly opened this summer. Yes the room is not large but the bed is comfortable and clean. Unfortunately spiders do get into the conservatory in summer when doors are open and flies may come in but I sure you that I constantly keep cleaning up after them. I didn't want to get in your way when I left to wash a couple of cups which I should have put in the dish washer. There is a large supermarket Sainsburys in Harringay which is a few minutes by car or a couple of stops on the bus and there are plenty of local smaller supermarkets in walking distance. My bedroom is meant to be private and I close the window when I am away. I don't know why you entered the bedroom instead of just shutting the door.There is very little storage space in my bedroom as the main storage is in the guest room with a deep built in wardrobes with hanging space and 4 large shelves for guests to use. The apartment has a lot of space with two dining and sitting areas and a lovely garden for guests to have the entire use of privately. There is good parking spaces on this quiet road and I provided you with visitor permits which cost me £5 per day and you did not leave money for these permits.

Perfect for a visit to London

We stayed for 5 days while visiting London. The location is great. An easy walk to the underground and you can get anywhere you need to go. The flat is clean, comfortable and quiet. Stella was great, helpful and easy to contact!

Nice house with a yard

Stella is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying in her apartment. We could use kitchen, washing machine, Stella provided everything for the bathroom, tea, coffee etc. We liked neighborhood and transportation around. Close to the city center.

I am in zone 2 which is two stop from kings Cross station and easy to get to from all airports and I helped to pick up guests when they had gone the wrong direction when leaving the station

Yes the double bedroom is cosy but has a desk and storage space.This is reflected in the price but guests have the use of the whole apartment of two large living and dining areas , conservatory as well as kitchen, bathroom and Garden.

Super convenient for travel into London and Heathrow. Modest bedroom but spacious apartment provides adequate balance. Shared bathroom was a surprise. Stella is a very helpful host. All in all, great value.
