Four nights without any heat whatsoever I actually had to open the oven door for heat. The owner would not solve this problem or get someone over here immediately to get the heat working. There were promises of a building manager and then excuses like you can't find anyone on a Sunday and I'll have to wait till Monday morning and of course Monday morning and Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning came and went and there was still no heat. The thermostat is very complicated with so many settings it was impossible to figure out especially without any instructions. I tried to get help from a renter in another flat but after 15 minutes of pressing every button over and over and over it worked briefly but he had no idea what he did so could not fix it again.The unit is in dire need of painting, renovation/repairs and a deep cleaning. It is clear it is ill maintained without any care to the comfort of their guests.Greeted by three flights of filthy stairs/stairwell. TV in bedroom doesn't work; watching TV in the living room you have to sit on a very stained, extremely uncomfortable and lumpy couch. It's hard and feels as if springs are coming through.Some simple chairs are uncomfortable as well. Baking pan was all greasy and the two frying pans are stained and filthy.Can't open or close the blinds because the rods are missing. blinds and sills filthy. Condensation in frig, TP & towel holders loose. Shower grout dirty. Tiny, tiny bathroom.
