Notre suite à une chambre rénovée (2-5 personnes), capture le style raffiné de Hawaii tropical et propose une cuisine entièrement équipée, salon séparé, véranda privée (balcon) et laveuse / sécheuse dans la suite pour la commodité «à la maison». Si vous êtes intéressé par quelque chose de plus grand, demandez une possibilité de mise à niveau.

Les clients des rives du Kaanapali peuvent également profiter de la piscine avec jardin (idéale pour les enfants) et du restaurant Ocean Pool and Beach Club. Deux courts de tennis éclairés, un terrain de pickle ball, un centre de remise en forme / massage, deux spas à jets, des cours de plongée gratuits, le camp pour enfants et la plage sont également disponibles. Le restaurant et salon Beach Club surplombe la piscine et le bleu du Pacifique et propose un menu composé de plats insulaires contemporains et de prix «de style familial». Dans le hall, vous trouverez un salon, des articles divers et des magasins de vêtements de plage. De beaux magasins, des galeries et des restaurants se trouvent également à proximité.

Thank you John, The beach/shorelines in the islands does vary with the seasons. Winter tends to erode them pretty dramatically in spots and the tides shift so that by the end of summer they are normally at a peak. One of the broadest stretches of sand is right next door fronting Honua Kai but the swimming in that area has a fair amount of exposed coral, especially in the winter months. I appreciate your comments and hopefully the details I am including here will be helpful for planning future island visits. Could have been better

We love staying at Kaanapali Shores. We've stayed here several times and we understand that every unit is different but this unit could have been better. It's at a perfect location with great amenities for families. What was disappointing this time around was that the condo had a full kitchen but no cookware to cook with :( For a week vacation, sometimes you just want to cook to eat in.

Beautiful location

Steps from the beach. Pool area was very nice, plenty of space to lounge. View was amazing from the room. The beach club restaurant was ok. I would prefer my cocktails to look more tropical… The staff was always helpful friendly and courteous.

The staff was very friendly and professional. The location is great, minutes to Lahaina south and Napili bay north. I would stay here again without hesitation. Ed, our host, was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. He is extremely knowledgeable and I highly recommended him and this facility.

Good location

Nice place to stay, and a good location. The place could be stocked a little better though. There is only one small frying pan, one small baking sheet, no Tupperware or serving bowls, no, one small cutting board etc. not the end of the world, but it wouldn’t take much to make it better for the guests.

A beautiful property! Pools were lovely and we really enjoyed The Beach Club restaurant with its view of the ocean. Unit was large and clean and we did have a view of the ocean because we were high enough. Our only dislike was that the bbq area was very tucked away and not social at all. Other places we’ve stayed we’ve found that area to be fun. Overall, a we were very satisfied with our choice.

Good spot

Overall property is quite nice and in a good location. Couple nice pools on site. There was major construction on site the week we visited unfortunately and it was very very loud and went on for many hours per day. It was literally right beside our room so we ended up moving rooms to other side of resort. Very convenient location with lots to do nearby.

Kaanapali Shores

Property was nice, clean and well maintained. Problems occurred such as the washing machine flooding the place but this was promptly dealt with by the staff. Location is nice but FYI not on the large Kaanapali beach. It was often cloudy and windy up in Kaanapali when it was sunny and calm farther south in Lahaina. If you want to walk to surf you are better off in Lahaina. Was noisy in evenings with kids at the pool.

We had Construction noise everyday starting at 7am and the laundry truck every morning with the back-up beep. Had to pay for parking and for the workout room. We had leave the room for pest control to come.

Ground floor was an awesome surprise!

We loved our stay! The beach is washed out, which we expected this time of year but the Garden pool more than made up for it! My kids could’ve spent all day swimming. We were surprised with being a ground floor unit. Definite game changer with small children. Made multiple trips back to the room from the pool a breeze! Kitchen was minimally stocked but there was enough to make due for our needs. We definitely were at the max capacity with two kids sharing the couch pullout, one in a pack-n-play and my husband and I in the bedroom. Sad to be growing out of this great unit.

Overall had a good time

Couple things that made me review how I did. 1) CONSTRUCTION noise. 2) Sewer truck pumping septicbof restaurant in middle of the day. Could not even lay by pool during this time due to smell. 3)Condo was not as ready as I'd hoped. Beds not fully made with blankets (had to ask for blankets for main med and pull out bed). Only 2 towels in unit when we had 4 people staying. Had to ask for more. No broom to sweep up anything. Had to ask for one. 4) Location and communication with host was great.

Nice home base for Maui

Nice place for an extended vacation. It’s a condo unit within a hotel, but it’s a Vrbo unit. Some units utilize the property management on site. For this unit, you save going Vrbo and you have enough access to whatever you need. There’s not daily cleaning services, but we expected that, and it’s easy enough to wash towels or trade in pool towels. There’s a washer and dryer within the unit and a fully stocked kitchen. You can pay for yoga and other fitness classses outside facing the ocean ($10/class). Utilization of the gym was $5/ session. There’s not really a business center in the whole place, but there’s a shipping place across the street with computer/printer access you can pay for. Good wi fi in the rooms. Having two pools and a beach on site was great. I understand there are seasons when the beach is washed away, but there was nice sandy beach when we were there in August. There are great little shops for all your necessities within the hotel lobby. There are little shops and food places across the street including Hawaiian BBQ, shave ice, pizza, etc. It is a short drive to Lahaina (too far to walk). Kitchen has adequate supplies and utensils (but could use baking sheet etc), so we made a lot of meals. The TV and DVD player work fine but a bit complicated to get the DVD going because you start it through a Play station, but the front desk will help. You can rent DVDs/movies through what’s effectively a red box at the grocery store across the street (unlike hotel managed units where you can pick up in the lobby). We drove to Nakaleke Blowhole, down to aquarium, to Lahaina for shopping and surf lessons and luau, snorkeling in South Maui with friends, and up to the highest point of the mountain for sunset view (that’s a 5-6 hour round trip drive)—all to say, this is a good home base and more affordable if you are willing to not have regular cleaning. There’s a daily parking charge for a car but you do need one. Pick up groceries at Costco (near the main airport) in your way in...decent prices there. VRBO owners are responsive to any questions.

Beautiful Resort

We love the grounds here. Pool is beautiful with all the extras, i.e. water features painting/ tile work of fish, turtle, and the gorgeous octopus. Room was furnished with everything we needed and was very comfortable.

Great stay!

We had never stayed at Ka'anapali Shores before and were pleasantly surprised by the one bedroom condo and the grounds. They were renovating the large swimming pool closest to the beach during our stay, but the garden pool seemed to be adequate for the number of people here in October. The front desk staff was happy to provide us with shower gel (that had been missing when we checked in) as well as an additional packet of Tide laundry detergent when needed. As another reviewer mentioned, there is no salt and pepper which seems like a basic kitchen item. The kitchen was stocked with minimal supplies but fortunately with only me and my husband here, it was enough for our needs. The front desk staff did mention at check in, that if we needed another cookie sheet or anything else for the kitchen, we could call down and they would provide it. There is an additional fee for parking. We ended up ditching our rental car for a few days, because we knew we were going to relax onsite or walk to Ka'anapali destinations and would not need a car for a couple days. Fortunately, there is a grocery store across the street that made it SOOOO convenient! Also across the street is an eclectic restaurant Soup Nutz/Java Jazz that has very reasonable prices compared to other dining options on the island. Our breakfast there was very tasty. Again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Thank you!

Incredible

Incredible location! Amazing property. There was some construction happening (jan 2022), but they gave us a unit far from it, so it was no issue. 2 pools, 2 hot-tubs, beachfront property, onsite bar, restaurant, and shops. I’ve stayed a lot of places in Maui and Would absolutely stay again.

Cute and cozy place

We always love staying at the Shores. The place is nice and centrallly located. The only complaint I have is the bed was very uncomfortable for me, it sinks in. My back was hurting the entire week so It affected my trip. Also the cooking supplies were very limited..no salt and pepper, hardly any pans to cook.

Beautiful room with hardwood furniture, tastefully decorated, clean with amenities...location within the complex good for pool and restaurant. Manager responded to noise from suite above quickly and frequently. ( 3Times) Good food in the restaurant/beach house. Actual beach non existent in front of resort, must go down south a few yards. Staff pleasant all around.
