The Old Farmhouse in Arnside, sleeps two guests in three bedrooms.
The old farmhouse at Brackenthwaite Farm, a cottage consists of a kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle, and toaster, a dining room with dining table for six, a sitting room with two sofas, armchair, wall-mounted smart TV with Netflix, woodburning stove, and thick limestone walls and original ceiling beam, and a cloakroom. The bedrooms consist of two super-king-sizes and twin. There is a bathroom with bath, walk-in shower, and basin and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed rear patio with furniture. Non-enclosed front garden with picnic bench and charcoal barbecue. Shared 2.5-acre enclosed field with balls and throws for dogs plus a dedicated play area for children with a trampoline, swings, and slides. Off-road private parking for one car, additional in the courtyard around the back. Three well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Enjoy a splendid retreat at The Old Farmhouse at Brackenthwaite Farm. Note: 10 GBP supplement per night for the third dog. Note: Horses welcome for 20 GBP per horse per night. The internationally renowned Leighton Moss RSPB Reserve is also just one mile away. Guided walks across the Kent Estuary are available, showing the full splendour of the shore and surrounding area. Within easy touring distance are the Lake District and Lune Valley, the Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland.
