Wonderful Resort Stay

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maui Sunset. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed playing shuffleboard every night. The view from the lanai is wonderful. We did not swim at the beach because we prefer to snorkel, but the sunsets are amazing! We would highly recommend this unit and resort.

A great family retreat!

This was a spacious unit with amazing views of the property, ocean and sunset! Our family was able to host Thanksgiving dinner with everything we needed in the kitchen and had a very competitive shuffleboard tournament to round out our day too! A truly wonderful family vacation in the perfect spot!

Maui Sunset

We were very happy with the condo and had an amazing stay. There were plenty of useful beach supplies provided. The grounds of the property were very nice and there were lots of activities for my kids to do there. The location was great. The property was quiet and clean. Loved watching the sunsets each night from there. The condo was very well equiped and was as described. We were very happy with this rental.

Perfect for our family

This condo was perfect for our family of 3, and would also work for a family of 4. We enjoyed our time on the lanai. We loved the beach location, and took advantage of games on property: shuffleboard, putting green, playing catch in the yard. The grounds are maintained really well, the pool is cleaned twice daily. The condo itself was very clean. There were no beach towels so we now have some souvenir towels that we bought at the grocery store. Otherwise, condo was well stocked. We brought some Tide pods and were able to do some laundry during the stay. We would definitely stay here again. Mahalo!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Maui Sunset is a perfect vacation rental, 2 bd, 2 Bath was very convenient. Right on the water in Kehei. The unit was clean, with beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler, etc. I'd like to report to maintenance that the lanai sliding glass door lock was inoperative. We didn't feel insecure there, but knowing you could lock up the apartment when gone would be more comforting.There was a wifi router in the unit, but no login/password instructions. That would have been nice. We found the grounds impeccably maintained, but were surprised that they let dog owners from the adjacent local park defecate on the manicured lawn. We saw this occur at least 5 times where the owners did not pick up after themselves. I would post signage on the parking area boundary of the park. Shame on them!I would certainly recommend Maui Sunset and would stay there again. Much more "local feel" then the overpriced Kaanapali shore. Aloha

Great Condo

Overall, we are very happy with our stay. Our condo was amazing. It was perhaps the best-equipped condo we have ever stayed in. The only reason I have down graded my rating is we had multiple incidents of other residents flying drones in the complex and making a diligent effort to hover and peer into the other units, one at a time. There were also multiple, long duration hovers over the pool area where multiple people were sunbathing. I confronted one of the drone flyers and it seemed to stop. We reported the incident and the manager advised they would pass the concern along, but never followed up with it. Not sure there is much they can do, but this is the only complex this has happened in over the past 20 years of renting.

Maui Family vacation

We are a family of 5. 3 adult children and us (Mom and Dad). We had the best experience. The condo is so conveniently located so we were close to a lot of attractions. The unit was clean and comfortable. The balcony was the best! Great sunsets.

Love Maui Sunset

All good. However there was lots of water on the floor around the air conditioning unit in the living after the storm we had on Sunday. We cleaned it all up and placed some plastic bags around the unit to stop the water from coming inside. Cleaned it up and all good. The toilet in the main bedroom should be checked as it played up a bit with low water etc.

Every night we could stroll down to the waterfront beach and enjoy the sunset. We were in walking or short driving distance from stores and restaurants and even a cute Farmers Market. When we return to Maui, this will be our launching pad.

Kihei Relaxation

Enjoyed our stay. Manager allowed for early check in which was great as we had refrigerated goods. Unit was clean and spacious. The deck was particularly nice as one can see the mountains, ocean and pool. Close proximity to elevator.
