We loved our stay at this beautiful property. It’s even better than it looks from the pictures which is very rare. Excellent location, great communication with hosts and had everything we needed.

Loved this house

This house has everything you need and the views are incredible. The location is great and our family thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Everything about this property was great. There was 11 of us and it was very spacious. Very clean and had everything you need and more. Parking was amazing. We had four cars and room for one more. Unusual for beach property. Communication with owners was great. All in all top notch property.

Great Oceanside stay

Wonderful Stay!!

Absolutely beautiful stay in Oceanside! This home is perfect for a beach stay (loaded with chair, beach boards, sand toys and towels) and the view of the ocean from the house is stunning. We had a blast being on on the ocean side boardwalk - the surfing, people watching + wildlife (dolphins and seals) was wonderful! I would absolutely stay here again.

Thank you for your review. In your text message to us when you left the house, you wrote one of your best family vacations. I assume the 4 star review is because one of your kids locked the door knob lock and you were unable to get in without a key. We immediately drove down, but we do live 2 hours away from the property. Great place, awesome owners

Beautiful place. Very comfortable and well outfitted with everything you need. Great and easy communication with the owners. Felt like home. Would definitely recommend this property. The views we awesome. We even saw a couple of whales breaching the water and some dolphins.

Excellent Home

We had a great week in Oceanside at this beautiful property. The highlights include sitting on the deck to enjoy the view of the whitewater, the easy walk to downtown, and watching a movie downstairs. I highly recommend this home and will be back! Debbie was great and easy to communicate with.

The ocean is so close to the house. Waves crashing on the rocks right in front. Beach access is across the street. Saw dolphins in am and pm. Host was great. Communication was open. Having a garage to put car in at night was a plus. The house had everything you need for a great beach vacation. Pelicans galore flying by. Temperatures in the house were good. Fresh ocean breeze. House is great for extended family. Appliances all worked great. Definitely want to return.

Spacious beach house with ocean waves

We loved this house and the view. The hosts were excellent - they gave us ideas for activities and helped with any questions I had. The sound of the waves was so relaxing. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere that the beds and sheets were as comfortable as home. They had lots of closet space and hangers.

Great Vacation Home

We had an amazing time visiting Oceanside for the Ironman 70.3 race. Staying on The Strand was fantastic for our family to watch us race, and then relax for the next week taking in the amazing ocean views. Debbie was great to work with before, during and after our stay. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a great clean property that's big enough you feel at home and not cramped. The Ocean views were amazing, close to the pier and beaches. The home was very clean and provided everything we needed during our stay. I will definitely come back and stay here again.

AWESOME beachfront home!

This rental felt like Home! Fully furnished with new nice appliances and furniture. It was very clean. Seriously you can’t beat the view! You are literally steps away from your toes being in the sand. We would highly recommend this Home! We plan to come back—hopefully soon!

house was a perfect fit for our large group.

Loved the house. High tides didn't allow for as much laying on the beach time but didn't stop the kids from ocean play time. having bikes was great and less items for us to bring and rent. Second fridge up stairs was great for drinks.

2023 Yearly Beach Family Vacation

Owners provided a first class, well stocked house and made sure we were comfortable. Views were great. Since the tide was high during the day we had a short walk to a sandy beach. There are steps to the ocean two houses north. Parking for four cars was convenient. We plan to return in 2024.

Awesome!

Our family of 10 loved everything about our weeklong stay! The home is beautiful, spacious, and most importantly, right on the beach. The balcony has a sliding door that opens up the whole house to a spectacular view. The owners Debbie and Robert are wonderful to work with and really care. A truly memorable experience. Lovely Stay

There were 10 of us who had a wonderful week at this property. We had 5 teenagers who had their own comfortable sleeping area, pool table and kitchen . Adults had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. We loved the beautiful deck and comfortable seating with firepit. Kitchen was clean and well stocked for cooking. We would. all like to go back. The hosts were so nice and responsive

Perfection

Beautiful home literally on the water. Great for families. Owners didn’t miss a detail. Lots of space for big families. Great location for Disney, the zoo, and Seaworld. Fun downtown w great restaurants. Beach parks are perfect for young families for a morning stroll. Owner was always available for questions and guidance and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was awesome. House is newly updated.

Epitome of CA beach experience

Property is better than the pictures show! Was able to give my out of state family the "CA experience". Debbie and Robert were very responsive to all communications. Robert even ended up needing fix a door lock just before we checked in. We will be back.

Great for a large group

We stayed here for 4 nights with the family, the house configuration worked well. You are waterfront but the beach is a short walk down the way. The one-way road in front of the house keeps traffic slow but there is a lot of it. People like to cruise the strand which provided interesting people/car watching. We spent the whole afternoon on the deck taking it all in. None of us have ever spent any time in Oceanside and we enjoyed being so close to breweries and restaurants.

Hi Leann, Thank you for your 5 star review. We are happy that your family enjoyed the beach house and Oceanside. Oceanside has many great restaurant and breweries and the beach house is in a great location, close to many things. Regarding the beach in front of the house, when the tide is low we have a great beach. You will see people laying out, playing games, surfing and sometimes the life guards drive their trucks along the beach because the beach is so big. When the tide is high, the water can come all the way up to the rocks. The beach size all depend on Mother Nature and unfortunately we cannot control Mother Nature. It is really fun being on The Strand. It is a great place to people watch. People walk their dogs, ride their bikes, jog and the cars do cruise. They go very slow and like to show off their cars. You will see a lot of cars from the 40's, 50's to current. The Strand in front of our beach house is only one way, but there is a big section of The Strand on the other side of the pier that is two-way. The beach house balcony is also a great place to watch the sunsets, eat meals by the fire pit and see dolphins. We are happy that you liked the configuration of the house. It is very spacious (3028 sf) and large groups are not right on top of each other. Thank you again for staying with us and we would love for you to stay again if you ever get back to Oceanside.
